"A young lady who works there, box braids, slim no name tag (I understand why now) was extremely unprofessional. I saw her and heard her get aggressive with so many customers. It was about 2 weeks ago. I forgot to write a review but will be filing complaints on her behavior. There were kids around as well. One mother had two daughters and spoke to this employee in a calm voice and this employee was rude, aggressive and disrespectful. This is my opinion however, it seemed as if she was just looking for an argument or actually physical altercation. Other customers felt the same. Arundel Mills is getting harder and harder to stomach."

"So this is a two part Review. First part, I went in to get my ears pierced. Bad move, I now know. I asked questions and the young lady was nice, seemed knowledgeable enough so I proceeded with the piercing. The 1 star is not for this thing lady as she was very honest about the piercing background of the employees and I still took a chance because I wanted the piercing that day. Everything was fine, I went home satisfied. About two days later my ears started to swell really bad. It could've been because i got multiple piercings in one ear. On the 4th day I woke up with really painful ears and one of the earrings had gotten pulled into my ear lobe. From the front you could see no earring, only the skin from my ear lobe already beginning to heal and the earring is completely inside of my ear. Here's the 1 star part. I called and spoke with the manager and explained my situation and she basically brushed me off and laughed and said I'm not sure what you want me to do. Fair enough, you get what you pay for. So I should've expected that response. What was I thinking of going to get my ears pierced from someone that trains for a few hours?? Needless to say, I went to Black Lotus Tattoo and they fixed me right up! I received a tragus and forward helix from BLT prior to this and should've just been patient to wait for an appointment. I ended wasting $140 at Claire's and paying another $80 to get it fixed. Lessons learned: Be patient and you get what you pay for. Just go to Black Lotus Tattoo and get it done right the first time. My piercer studied for 4 years to become as knowledge and precise as she is. The price is worth it. Not to mention she fixed a mess she didn't even make AND scheduled me for a follow up to ensure everything was healing correctly. I'll never go to Claire's for ANYTHING ever again."

"We scheduled to have my daughter's ears pierced her for her 11th birthday at 1pm. I would give five stars but this location was understaffed. Only one person was handling everything and everyone. On top of that, the systems were down which made it very challenging for the employee. The day in question was January, 1/2/23. The employee did a great job of taking care of us despite the lack of assistance. I'm sure it's stressful to deal with piercing a child's ears and having to tend to other customers waiting online to ring items up and ask questions. This could have been a negative experience with the wrong type of staff member on duty. We are blessed that our daughter's ear piercing tuned our well."

"They always have what I'm looking for, the employees are always eager to assist you. I was able to order thru their app and pick up all my Christmas gifts in the store. I like that they have sakes going on all year long."
