"Called to ask about a service. Was told they would need to come out to give a quote, in case there are complications / other more extensive work needs to be done in addition to the main job. When I asked if there is a typical price range for this type of job when it’s a straightforward installation, she disconnected the call. Very unprofessional."
"Unprofessional, disappointing, incompetent, unresponsive... on and on! Called for a small job requiring drywall patchwork, some painting and they sent an employee out to only not follow up with confirming the job. The project was time sensitive and this is completely unacceptable business practice. I called the company again to see what happened and they said “we cannot do this kind of job, sorry!” And hung up on me! Do not waste your time!"
"Hired them to replace an improperly installed dryer vent duct. They were friendly and did a pretty good job. They took care to lay down blankets and cleaned up afterwards. When I initially scheduled for an estimate they didn't show up until 2.5 hours after the scheduled time, nor did they contact me to let me know they weren't going to be there. Then I got in contact with them and they said they were on their way yet still showed up over an hour later than they said they would arrive. The quote they gave me was "Laundry room ceiling repair & fix the vent pipe $580. In case we have to opened outside the ceiling kitchen area adicional cost is $320". They did have to open the ceiling in the kitchen so I expected the total cost to come out around $900. After all was said and done the total was $1,120 which is about 24% higher than the original quote."
"We bought an old abused condo and wanted to have it completely renovated before we moved in. The NoVA Handyman team visited with us twice and took down what we wanted, and then finished the whole job in a week. It took 36 gallons of paint, a bunch of drywall and grout, and they fixed all of the toilets and sinks for a steal. I would highly recommend Mr. Ramos and his team for general contracting work. They are really good at their job, fast, and reasonable."
"From requesting the quote to getting the job scheduled was quick. I have 2 small jobs, running power to an attic fan and fixing a stuck vent cover, the work was done professionally. Antonio took his shoes off to when he came in to look at the attic fan which I appreciated since we had new carpet. And the work was done quickly and for a fair price"
