"Wonderful experience. Called in advance - was kept apprised of changed hours for pick up the following day due to an event. Arrived for pick up and the garlands I was purchasing were discounted 75% from the previous days price (the original price was about 20% of online retailer's prices). In fact, everything looked incredibly well priced. The staff were amazing and helpful - I cannot wait to plant in the spring with Patuxent Nursery's help!"

"A beautiful unseasonably warm Fall day on this last weekend in October. Instead of visiting the beautiful but crowded festive farm venues, I had a Fall festival of my own at a local nursery, Patauxent Nursery in Bowie, MD. This shop carries a variety of beautiful indoor/outdoor plants, trees, shrubs, etc. The staff is also friendly and knowledgeable with their plants."

"Fantastic selection, even more than the website shows! Tons of flowering trees, bushes, and plants of all varieties for all seasons. I had an amazing experience my first time here (and first time buying landscaping). I purchased >25 trees and shrubs, spanning cherry blossoms, dogwoods, crape myrtles, and hydrangeas. Both the garden specialist and customer specialist were attentive, knowledgeable, and quick. They helped me pull out, select, and set aside the best trees and bushes. Their team carried away the selections with tractor and stored them in the barn, until planting 1 week later. I used their subcontracted planting service, which was also amazing. They planted everything in 2 hours! The planting team gave great advice about watering and soil, they provided stakes, and they placed everything in the perfect location. The whole transaction end-to-end was easy, rapid turnaround, and friendly. (I also appreciate their warranty, in case one of the plants doesn't "take".)"

"Best nursery I’ve ever been to. Customer service is absolutely incredible, they’re happy to help + they know their stuff AND my favorite thing? When they don’t, they CHECK. No need to act like you know every single detail on every single plant, and having us customers deal with the consequences. Abby helped me pick a rubber tree plant and an aloe plant, and gave me shipping information on when I can come back for a snake plant. She also gave me a ton of information on each, types of planters, and some extra info for my stubborn calethea medallion at home. Even went outside to get me a cart when my plants became too much for my arms. Leanne was super sweet, showed me a rare plant they have coming in, and helped where she could and brought Abby over to me because she was in a different department. There was a gentleman who was walking around loading things, saw I had a rubber tree plant in my cart and just gave me a bunch of helpful information. You can tell these people love their jobs, their coworkers, and genuinely love to help. It’s refreshing!! I’m already plotting on a few more plants so I can go back!"
