"My partner and I walked in just browsing and left feeling absolutely welcomed to come back. We were helped by our new friend Cedric! He gave us the opportunity to learn, experience, and enjoy gifts for both us and my family! My one and only advice if you stop in is to ask for help and enjoy the experience they have to offer! Much love, will be back soon!!"

"This experience was hands down the worst I’ve ever had in DC. I was shocked that the staff had such poor self-awareness and service skills. My wife and I waited for 20 minutes before being attended to even though there were three employees. We both were very patient and kind, but that was taken for granted. We saw others get huge healthy sample sizes of different liquors, but when we were finally helped we got less than a drop of alcohol. They were incredibly quick to serve any white customer, but for some reason we couldn’t get their attention. As a boutique spirits store with a unique business model it would have been nice to understand what makes them different. Unfortunately, the only thing I see that is unique about them is their ineptitude."

"Visited for the first time and I will definitely be a returning customer! The two staff I met, Cedrick and Anthony, were helpful and funny! I loved that they let me try samples before buying, and I was even offered a delicious sample to enjoy at checkout. I will have to return for the ginger sesame oil they let me taste! I'm a huge fan of the small-batch setup and loved watching the wax seals be put onto the bottles I bought. I got some goodies for a family member's birthday, and Anthony wrote a complimentary happy birthday on the bottle in his beautiful calligraphy (sorry, Cedrick!). I'm already planning to buy Christmas gifts here; it's a foodie's haven! Thanks for the awesome experience."

"In short, cool but expensive. When you come in they will let you try lots of stuff and give you recommendations. They will put a little pressure on you to buy (I'm guessing they don't have direct commissions but the workers must get some % of sales split or something), but it wasn't too bad and understandable. I see this as a cool spot for gifts more than a place I would regularly get things, but I am also not rich. If I were rich, then heck yah I would be making my White Russians with expensive tiramisu flavored liqueur because it was pretty good and different."

"Great experience. The manager Cedric and the store clerk Micha were very nice and helpful. They provided us with a quality experience. We loved trying the different liqueurs, tequila and a lovely vinaigrette. 10/10 would recommend."
