"Been here for five years and haven’t had any issues. Extremely affordable rent. New property management company and manager Brian has turned things around a lot and will work with you if you COMMUNICATE. No issues ever with rodents or bugs (other than spiders in the winter). Maintenance will come pretty quickly if you have any issues. Overall great place for the most part. Edit: Since Brian left, nothing gets done. Calls go unanswered and front office acts as if your a bother for calling."

"I've been in my new unit for about a month and I gotta say, even for the area it's a very lovely setup. The manager, Dominique has been so graciously helpful, all it takes is sound communication to resolve any small issues and she will work with you. I look forward to making many peaceful memories with my time here and to maintain a wonderful tenant-landlord relationship. Thank you Baybrook, you've helped me forward in the next chapter of my life!"

"Do not give these people your money. I have applied to these apartments 4 times, under the direction of Brian. Each & every time, I was denied. Even using a co-signer! Mind you, this property is located in the slums of Brooklyn/Curtis Bay, where I can guarantee that 90% of the tenants are on rental assistance programs, and most definitely don’t have stellar credit scores. Just earlier this year, there was a mass shooting involving hundreds of teenagers at a block party. Brian is highly unprofessional & has a nasty demeanor when speaking with you. He talks to you like you’re a child, and shows/takes out her personal frustrations on you, as if you are his personal friend. This is a BUSINESS, and you are an EMPLOYEE. Get some people skills. Take a look at all the reviews, and notice the common denominator in race, for those who successfully rent here. If you’re anything other than black, you will be denied."

"Affordable one bedroom apt with utilities included. Have my own entrance. Close to transportation. My area is quiet. Small cozy apartment. Dominique was very helpful, patient and prompt with the lease signing which gave me a wonderful experience and a swift move in. My only dilemma is the smell of cat outside slowly make its way inside my apartment and I don’t like that! This problem is very annoying."

"I have now been in my unit for a little over a month now. I can't say that everything has been perfect since my move in because it has not. I am experiencing pest issues, which I request pest control every week, however, I did not have this problem when I moved in. It does make for discomfort, and I think pest control should be mandatory to all units surrounding the issue to get to the root of the problem otherwise, it will not work. I have never had to deal with pests, so this is new and alarming. I think maintenance should cover lock outs on weekends as well. Having an emergency Maintenace line and not being able to assist a tenant to get back in their unit is a little concerning. I didn't know that was the case until it happened to me and that was the information I was told. I ended up calling a locksmith. Brian has been very helpful and if I need anything, I rather speak to or work with him. I have had Commnication issues, however, I do my best to follow up if I don't hear back. I have been on the receiving end of "attitude" from a certain employee and not getting important information communicated as well. I understand that people get busy, and some things are out of your control but there is always a better way to speak to paying customers to make them feel secure in the location they are staying in. Customer Service goes a long way! I've been in the industry for years. The receptacles that are kept for those of us who have pets, seem to always be full and there are never bags available to scoop your pup's stool after. I typically bring my own. I wish there were more sockets as there is one socket per room. Nothing extension cords can't fix. Other than the issues listed, it's affordable living. I saw some reviews that mentioned a spike in utilities but maybe that has since changed as the utilities are now one rate inclusive. It's comfortable and intimate, close to many things, and I haven't had any other issues. If you are single or if it's just you and your significant other, I recommend for a "first-time" apartment situation considering the affordability. Make it your own, you will be satisfied. Again, I can't thank Brian enough. I have enjoyed working with him and his attention to tenants' concerns. It's refreshing when someone actually cares."
