Adaire Apartments

"Let me start by saying that all apartment buildings have issues. Anyone that has lived in multiple apartment buildings can tell you that. That being said, the difference between a good building and a bad building is the management. This team really goes above and beyond for their residents. A special thank you to Brandi for always going the extra mile for us. I would recommend the Adaire for anyone that is looking for a luxury apartment in the heart of Tyson’s Corner."

"I was having an ok experience here until today made me regret living at Adaire. I moved into Adaire in July of 2023. The units are very nice, however there seems to be a lack of customer service, and upkeep of amenities. When I moved in I was given an incomplete welcome package, which did not include a parking sticker. I asked the leasing office multiple times if everything was included and was told yes. Today, 12/9/23 my car was illegally towed by Adaire. When I went to inquire about the location of my car at the leasing office, I met an agent behind her desk and informed her that my car was missing, and I needed some assistance. She said “ok”, and after not hearing anything for about 10 minutes, I again asked her what the status was on her search. She then informed me that she was waiting on a response from her manager, and that her manager couldn’t not speak to me directly because he was on “PTO”. She then called me “aggressive” and told me that all we could do was to wait for her manager’s response. The response from her manager according to her was that i would have to pay the cost of retrieving my vehicle and would likely be reimbursed down the line. In my 1.5 hour wait in the leasing office I didn’t receive one apology, until she realized that it was Adaire’s fault my car was wrongfully towed. She finally gave me a parking sticker and the location of my vehicle, after telling me she had to “Google” search to see if Dominion Towing Company had my vehicle. This is a very poorly run management company, and customer service should be taken very seriously, especially when paying so much money to live in a “luxury” building. I am very disappointed with the response to my wrongfully towed vehicle, and the overall poor customer service I’ve received as a resident. If you value being cared for, this may not be the place for you. Lastly, the rooftop area was out of service for months of my stay; 70% of the outdoor grills do not work, and about 50% of cardio equipment in the gym are still not functioning. I’m expecting a response for some clarity."

"This building continues to have plumbing issues, electrical issues, and other "maintenance" shut downs. This building had a huge plumbing problem where apartments were flooded. Thinking this problem was fixed, I now have my bathroom flooding from a leak. SAVE yourself the headache of having the maintenance team come in and banging up your drywall in the middle of workdays and meetings. Do not move here. This "luxury" building only looks luxurious. The build, the quality, and all details are subpar on all accounts. AVOID IF YOU CAN. If not, you will become good friends with the maintenance team."

"I live on the 33rd floor. I had months of broken elevators, but Due to the leak in December 2022, I have been unable to live in my apartment for health reasons. I provided them medical evidence and a letter from my physician. Four months later, they say I can break off from my lease that’s over in July, but refuse to refund me back the rent for the months I couldnt live there. They have the audacity to refuse to give me any compensation. Apparently, if I want a month of rent back, I have to sign a waiver, which would force me to finish out my lease, as I wont get a release, despite telling the apartment that it is a health hazard for me."

"Adaire is an amazing community. The staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The amenities are top notch and the grounds are always well maintained. The homes are spacious and well appointed and the location is great with easy access to major highways and shopping. If you’re looking for a great place to live, Adaire is the place!"
