Harrison at Reston Town Center

"I moved into the Harrison in November of this year and I couldn’t be happier. I had been looking for a rental since September and wanted to take my time to find the right fit. From the moment I walked in the door for my first tour with Jillian, I knew it would be an amazing home.. As a leasing agent you won’t find better than Jillian. She gave me an incredibly thorough tour. As we were walking through the building I had the opportunity to chat with other residents in the elevator and common spaces and Jillian knew all of them. Everyone was pleased to see her and connect which, in my opinion, speaks to the family atmosphere of this building. Throughout the process Jillian was knowledgeable, transparent, professional, and excellent at communicating - from setting up the app to reviewing my lease, guest parking, move-in day, every step of the way - things went incredibly smoothly but anytime there was a snafu I was able to reach out to Jillian and get a prompt response with a quick resolution. Not only that, it hasn’t been one of those situations where as soon as you move in, your questions or concerns are disregarded. Jillian has taken the time to check up on me on multiple occasions since I moved in and every time I stop by the leasing office the staff is friendly and helpful.. The maintenance staff is incredible, all of the concierge staff is amazing, the residents themselves are incredibly friendly and welcoming, and there are multiple events to make it feel like more than just an impersonal apartment building with lots of amenities. And speaking of amenities, they’re top-notch. You won’t find a better gym in an apartment building. Everything is spotless, and if you need maintenance to come to your apartment, they will do it promptly and kindly. My apartment is also beautiful. Stainless steel appliances, plenty of room, lots of natural light and excellent proximity to the town center. Coming from out of state I am so happy to say that I found a place that feels like home, it was worth the wait. If you are choosing between the Harrison and other buildings in the area, I would 100% recommend the Harrison and talking to Jillian, she’s amazing."

"I resided in several “luxury” apartment buildings in DMV area for several years now, but never had so bizarre renting experience in my quite long life. Harrison at Reston Town Center. Has a very inviting lobby and super nice concierge. That’s where my complement ends. My spouse and I were met by most hostile leasing agent I ever met. Tyrell (I believe is his name), started by asking for my data. When I said they have it already since I input everything requesting, he told me he could not see me anywhere implying that I haven’t done it. Did not apologized when I showed him confirmation email. Our interest in the building is partially because website states they have special for new residents of 1.5 month free. Turns out it is bait and switch. If you chose special your rent price will go up for over 10% making rent more expensive over 12 months. I felt like buying my first used car in shady dealership in Chicago when teenager. Point is people willing to pay north of 3K for apartment in NOVA most likely know how to do basic arithmetic. When I told agent that is special that makes price higher, he got really defensive. Apartments are quite nice, but run of the mill. What’s weird thermostat was really ancient without any connectivity. Haven’t seen anything like that in years. Another bait and switch is parking fee. They advertise free parking for a first car but charge $150 for a second one. It’s pretty much double of places are charging in Reston Town Center Proper. But the straw that broke the camel back was $15 fee per bicycle to use bike rack. That’s just outrageous. At the end of the tour leasing agent pointed us to complex across the street saying it is the great place and we should definitely check it out. The only good piece of advice I had from the agent. Signature, here we go."

Overall, my experience at Harrison Apartments has been outstanding. The professionalism of the staff combined with the wonderful living environment makes this place truly remarkable. If you’re looking for a great place to live in Reston Town Center with exceptional customer service support from people like Jillian and her team who genuinely care about your needs as a resident, I highly recommend checking out Harrison Apartments.
