"THE CROWS... Do not ignore this. During the winter time, the crows come and literally will wake you up every night at 4-6 AM. I've seen some reviews that say that they have contacted management but there has been nothing done yet. I lived here for a year and have to move out and I am grateful that I am leaving. On the other hand, the management is really responsive to any maintenance requests. I have had my dishwasher and lights replaced in a matter of a day."

"The apartment decided not to receive package on Sunday since Aug 01, 2023. What a great decision! Now any package that we have no control over on the delivery time will be lost on Sunday due to no-one there to receive it. I have lost several packages due to people just left them at the front door. I feel like things are getting worse and staff shortage here. What's going on guys?"

"We have a very serious problem with the crows. We cant step out into our courtyard, take our kids to the playground, or simply walk the grounds. There is an infestation, and bird droppings covering every inch of the property from fall to summer. Every crow in bethesda/rockville comes to the trees surrounding Strathmore court every afternoon, until the next morning. Its disgusting, not a new issue. I recently went to the main office to ask about it. The staff said, the one of the maintenance men was thinking of getting a device that creates a noise that only the crows can hear. To scare them off... Gee, can't wait.. I think its time the apartment sent out a letter regarding this issue."

"The apartment its self is okay, old kitchen appliances, old elevators, old old carpet lining the hallways, broken tiles etc. my biggest complaint is that they have lost multiple packages at the front office. Despite me having the delivery info saying it was signed and accepted by a front office employee. They tell me well they all get delivered in a pile and then we email the apartment. Which they email the main person on the lease not the name on the package so half the time I don’t even know when my packages get delivered. I rely on the emails from the company or UPS/USPS. So they aren’t accurately checking in any packages, and then they tell me to contact the delivery company because they can’t do anything even tho they are the ones not accurately checking in packages. It’s an awful system that really needs to be updated in order to ensure actual delivery. Also, I’ve tried to reach out to them via phone before but the number doesn’t work, and I’ve also emailed them about the times a concierge person will be present for after hours package pickup and they never emailed back. Overall the lack of communication is horrible and the staff truly doesn’t care if you receive your packages or not."

"I have lived here with my roommate for about 4 months now. My apartment is in the back (2nd floor) and faces the pond so it is very quiet and I barely hear my neighbors. The rooms are fairly big in my opinion and we got a great deal. **They (like every apartment complex) jack up rent prices in the summer months. So, I highly recommend applying in the off season. We applied in April and our apartment is now roughly $500 more a month in August looking at their website. Our utilities (in the summer) are about $200 a month for two adults. More perks: It is very convenient to the metro and shopping/restaurants at Pike & Rose. The staff has always been super friendly towards me and moving in was pretty easy. The free attached garage parking and pool is an added bonus. While the parking is free the garage is in bad shape. Constant waterfalls coming from the ceiling and parts of the ceiling missing. It looks like it is about to cave any minute. Only complaint though."
