Metro Crossing Apartments

"What started off being a great experience, did not end in a positive one. I moved here two years ago, and It truly started off amazing. The staff was on top of everything, and they did everything well. I wish I could say It ended that way when I left; however, it did not. My car was stolen, and they did absolutely nothing to help! They called and said they would get back in contact with me and NEVER DID. The garage that the residents park in is open to the public, and literally anyone can just park there. My car was stolen right in front of the security office too, which means they were not paying attention. Instead of fixing the issue with parking, they write a small sign outside the garage and say they are not responsible for any damages that may occur for your car and to "park at your own risk." If we don't park there, where else will we park? All of the parking is open to just anybody. Their Reponses to stolen cars is "well they are stealing a lot of cars right now." Totally unprofessional!!!!!!!!! This property has become very unsafe. Teens walking around and causing chaos at all times of the night. I no longer felt safe in the community. It's like you have to look over your shoulder and pray no one comes and knocks you upside your head. One of the elevators is always broken. We pay too much money for stuff to consistently be broken. The gym was almost always amess. People would literally be hosting work out courses with CLIENTS at the COMMUNITY GYM! I have called several times about this. They would play loud music in the gym, as if this was their own personal gym. It sad that this complex has gone downhill so much, because it is in a nice area. Maintenace also came into my apartments one time and did not notify me, which is totally inappropriate and dangerous. They no longer fix problems like they used to and they do not get back to you in a reasonable time, you have to keep calling them to get answers. SMH!"

"The location of this place is amazing. However, management is horrible. The walls are thin. I’ve complained about my neighbor numerous times. The second time, the representative at the leasing office Chante I believe her name was, told me they would tell the owner he had to remove his surround sound system (she stated that he admitted to having one) however, the fourth time I complained which was more recent, The community manager - Zara (I believe that’s her name) response to me was that no one complained about him before and that sound bars are allowed and she has one herself. This could be true, however - if an allowed sound system is turned too loud then it’s just plain too loud. Same as anything else. I am writing this review at 2 am because i was awaken yet again by my neighbors sound system. I’ve only live here two months and cannot enjoy my space. There no reason I should constantly hear base or have to leave my living room when my neighbor is in his, because his tv and base is SO loud. Even in my bed room right now, I have to turn my tv to 100 in volume just to slightly tune his out. It’s RIDICULOUS!!!! I don’t even sleep with a tv on but am FORCED to. I am trying to avoid confronting my neighbor myself because I know it won’t go well and Id like to believe the managers are in place to enforce, however doesn’t seem like they want to. My phone with Zara, she would not let me speak Ibhad to literally point out to her that she could not effectively hear and address my concerns if she was talking at the same time. I can not believe that David S Brown, a major developer has representation like this. I pay my rent just like everyone else. This is the same manager (Zara) where, when my car was stolen from the lot outside a month after I moved in and while waiting for the police and community security, I’m clearly upset and emotional, her response after getting my vehicle information was “at least you can get a new car, the one you had was pretty old”. She does not possess the people skills to be a community manager nor problem solve. If you want a peaceful place to live and a supportive leasing office staff, this may not be the place for you."

"Don't ever sublease at this apartment complex. It has been almost 2 years since I have moved out of this property and they still will not give me by security deposit which is almost $700. Instead of working with me or get the deposit from the current tenant, I have no idea when or if I will ever receive this deposit back. I have reach out multiple times they are now not responding back to me anymore. I would to speak to whoever is the highest person possible that doesn't work directly in the leasing office. Thanks."

"Now that my lease is coming to it's end here in August, I wanted to make one last review. I really enjoyed my time here, and in the end I am really going to miss my beautiful apartment. I only signed for 10 months because of job relocations and I was considering re-signing here for a two bedroom but the availability didn't align with mine :(... or else I would've stayed longer with how much I appreciate and love this place. Like I said in my previous review, the staff was nothing short of amazing and timely with every and any concern I ever had! More specifically Megan Caldwell. (And no I'm not one of those reviews that you see on other apartment complexes boasting about someone who works here for any perks, or because I was "asked" to make this. All of this is coming from my own experience of living here for 10 months. No one asked me to write this and you can refer to my last review for more information). She was there with me from start to finish with the process of moving from Pittsburgh, PA to Owings Mills. She was consistently in contact with me and made my transition moving here so amazing. I would also like to recognize the maintenance. I have never had a better experience with timely maintenance like I did while I was here. Putting in a request was always so easy, and typically within 20 minutes I was being serviced. If anyone is looking for a great apartment, with reasonable prices for what you receive in return I would highly recommend this place. My favorite part about the apartment was the beautiful huge kitchen island and the huge windows. Not to mention the location. You're located on a beautiful stretch of town that is well maintained and you're within 5 minutes of any store you could ever need. It was such a great time that I had here and I would extend my lease for my current apartment had I not added my S/O to it... we just had too much stuff for a one bedroom and my lease ends before the availability opens for the two bedroom I was interested in! I wish nothing but the best for this place and their staff and future residents! Also, the perk of not having to pay for parking, and having the option of not one but TWO free parking garages and a parking lot behind the property was also an added bonus. Move here if you're in need of a home in Owings Mills! :)"

"I had an amazing experience working with Macie in the leasing office. Prior to finding Metro Crossing, I had toured a dozen other properties in a few states and this was by far the best customer service I received. She was very patient and thorough with the questions I had, and was sure to look up information when necessary to assure accuracy. The tour was great and their model apartments are very well kept. I am pleased with the secure entry, package center and the security that patrols the plaza. I am extremely excited to be a tenant here as I am relocating for work, and am excited about all that the Owings Mills/Greater Baltimore area has to offer!"
