"Great area and easy commute to nearby stores, walking distance if you like walking. My apt is nice, its spacious, bathrooms a little small though. Lived here for a while, the office staff were slow in responses, leasing agent never seems to be there. Was deciding on moving out but the new property manger has show a lot of potential and seems to really care about the property. She introduced herself as soon as she started and started making changes to improve property. Decided to renew my lease and see how it goes with the new changes."

"I lived there for two years and honestly can say it was a great experience. No bug issues and clean! The apartments are updated with granite in bathrooms and kitchens. I loved it because of how quite it was. I never heard my neighbors because the structure of the buildings are good. It had to be concrete! I can’t say anything but nice things about Dominick (property manager/ maintenance/ everything else)who was always nice and helpful! He did it all! Truly a pleasure to live there and if it wasn’t because I recently got engaged and moved to live with my fiancé I’d still be there."

"My husband and I rented here for about a year and a half and just moved out. This was the most stress-free renting experience either of us have had. The building manager is great and very accommodating. The buildings are clean and we never had issues with bugs or rodents or old appliances breaking, etc. (I appreciate the regular cleanings that happened in the stairwells lol, so it didn't constantly have that damp apartment smell.) There's always parking available, the neighbors are generally friendly, and the price of rent was great for being so close to downtown. Would definitely recommend."

"Edited 10/02/2018 to add that after 7 years we've just moved out from Jefferson Chase and as always Dominic has been extremely accommodating and helpful with our move. We've been allowed to work on our car ourselves in the spacious overflow parking lot up to the last day of our stay here - a huge help! Dominic answered all our questions and provided advice to make our move out so much less stressful, and our security deposit is being refunded 2 days after we moved out, when the lease states they are allowed 45 days to refund it. Can't ask for anything better than that! We spent 7 happy years here and never had any issues - even better the management accommodated all our special requests and anything we've needed over the years. Can't recommend this place more, if you're looking to rent in Frederick! Previous review from a year ago: My husband and I, who have been renting at Jefferson Chase for 6 years, are very happy with the place and the current management. They have been extremely accommodating from day 1 with our shorter than normal lease renewal period requests, and our rather unconventional number of vehicles we needed to park in the parking lot. Any maintenance issues we've had over the years (broken garbage disposal, stuck closet doors, even a stuck bird in the dryer vent) were addressed very quickly and efficiently by either Dominic (the property manager) or by professionals hired by Dominic at no cost to us. Love the fact that this apartment complex is one of the few pet friendly places in Frederick and they don't charge an exorbitant amount of pet fees like some other apartments we were considering. They are also concerned with the happiness of the residents in regards to their neighbors pets - Dominic was doing some maintenance in our apartment and he noticed the neighbor's dog was barking quite a bit and asked if that was a recurring problem for us. Luckily, it wasn't, but if it ever became an issue I'm convinced he'd work with us and the neighbors to deal with it. The grounds are very well maintained - the grass is mowed every week during the spring/summer/fall, and the landscape/trees are cleaned of dead branches and pruned regularly by a professional crew. Some longer term residents on the ground floor even have mini gardens in front of their apartments, which add a little more color and variety to the classic apartment building grounds landscape. Dominic also does regular maintenance every 6 months, where he notes any issues that might have shown up over the past 6 months and fixes them as fast as possible - an added bonus. As a result, we've never had anything major unexpectedly break over the past 6 years. We've never had any pest problems mentioned by other residents, and that is partially due to the fact that professional pest control has been called in regularly and they're actively taking preventive measures. Overall we've had a very nice stay at Jefferson Chase, and we highly recommend it to anyone who needs to rent in the area."
