"I was hunting for italian made 00 flour for pizza. They were one of the few grocery stores that had authentic 00 flour for pizza from Italy made with protein. I needed this flour particularly to make authentic foccacia bread. It was expensive but no matter what grocery store you go to it'll be expensive my guess is because it's imported. The Balducci's customer service was great. Three times I was asked if I needed help. This is a great place to get all kinds of authentic cheeses - the selection was above and beyond. Fun fact this Balducci's is owned by Safeway (or technically Albertson's Co. which owns Safeway as well)"

"Loved the food selection but found it outrageously expensive. Bought a steak there that was almost twice from chain stores. We thought it would be delicious. It was no better than the chain stores. I think we spent $170 for not quite 2 bags if food. I won't be going back."

"I was initially going to give a much lower rating because I felt like the level of customer service was poor, especially given how highly priced their items are. I tend to always have to wait a while for someone to come to the meat counter to get some service. However, I made a trip here today and the customer service was exceptional. Not sure what changed, but I’d love to have this experience more often."
