"My experience was beyond disappointing at this motel. The location is misleading; it's marketed as a luxury area but is right across from section 8 housing and a busy McDonald's, frequented by the homeless that linger into the broken doors of the facility. The pillows are as thin as a pizza box, more like small seat cushions than proper pillows. The hotel has maintenance issues with wires hanging everywhere, making it feel unsafe. The staff, especially the manager Jack, is rude and disrespectful. Overall, not a relaxing or enjoyable stay. This motel falls short on family-friendliness and value for money. I wouldn't recommend it for families seeking a pleasant stay."

"Regretfully disappointing Stay I recently stayed at this hotel let's say motel and had an incredibly disappointing experience. Firstly, there was no mention of ongoing renovations when I booked, leading me to believe the property was in good condition. However, the reality was far from it. The entrance doors of the building were broken, compromising both safety and privacy. Allowing any suspicious characters off the street to freely loiter through the motel. The unprofessionalism of the manager and staff further exacerbated the situation. Their lack of courtesy and customer service skills was evident throughout my stay. This has been the worst hotel experience in my 15 years of travel, and I would strongly advise against choosing this establishment until significant improvements are made."

"I am local to the DC area, but had a funeral in Arlington Cemetery on a weekday morning. Anyone who has ever been to the area knows that traffic is horrible - add rain to that and it is like a chaotic circus. So I decided that I would stay in a hotel to minimize the possibility that I would be stuck in traffic and potentially miss the funeral. I usually stay at Hilton Hotels because I get amazing discounts; however, even with the discounts, the price for one night was way too high. So I found this gem when looking for hotels that were less expensive. I read the reviews, and although they were somewhat mixed, it seems that the good reviews were REALLY good, so I decided to give this a shot. I am glad that I did! The first awesome thing was walking into an updated, relaxing lobby. Then I checked in with Hope, who was so warm and welcoming and also very patient (I was kinda a mess and it was late). Hope was incredibly informative and helpful. I could tell that she really loves her job, which makes a big difference in the type of customer service one receives. The overall atmosphere was awesome for the price. I was not staying in an overpriced, luxurious hotel, so I am not going to expect that (I feel that other guests who complained about the atmosphere were expecting some kind penthouse accommodations.) The room? Updated and squeaky clean! The linens were fresh, the restroom looked brand new and the room was warm and welcoming after a long day. And although I think that the hotel was sold out, I did not hear a peep from the neighbors on either side or upstairs! The breakfast the next morning was great - 2 waffle makers with 2 different flavors, eggs, sausage, muffins, danishes & other sweets, cereal, oatmeal, fruit, juice, milk, etc. It was much better than breakfasts I have had at other lower-priced hotels. To sum it all up, I usually do not stay at Choice Hotels and other lower-priced brands because I do find myself in a musty smelling room where I always check for bed bugs (sorry, but it is my experience). However, this hotel far exceeded my expectations. Thank you, Comfort Inn Falls Church, for being both inexpensive and awesome! (And p.s. Give Hope a raise because she is a true asset to this hotel. I swear that she knows nothing about this review :-)"
