Edgewood Commons

"My experience living at Edgewood commons was completely disgusting. I wouldn’t recommend anybody to ever consider living here. They barely fix anything if I could give zero stars I would. They don’t appreciate the RA’s and overwork them. They treat it as if it’s modern day slavery for the RA’s. I’ve lived in better places but I’m highly disappointed in Edgewood commons. Especially for the price you pay living here I would like to talk to someone asap."

"I’ve stayed at Edgewood for 4 years and their prices keep going up for the contract while they advertise for their old prices. The staff make it extremely hard to discuss anything regarding your contract and for the past year they have been adding multiple additional charges for subpar things. I was charged 20$ for my contract simply coming to an end, nothing to do with rent. I’d image this is due to the change in management, but over all I regret spending my last year here. Even with the extra amenities."

"Been living here a few months so i figured i'd write up a review. Pros: -Complex is vastly better than the dorms in terms of living -The cost is actually cheaper than living in the dorms, if you buy your own food. -Amenities work orders are taken seriously, work orders are normally done either the same day or the next day -Parking is great -Professional staff is great -About a half mile from campus Cons -No sense of community (RA events are more geared towards meeting quota verses actually bringing the community together, which isn't necessarily their fault since students aren't generally social at the complex.) -Terrible gym -Rooms are generally a hit or miss -Student staff doesn't really enforce anything -A lot of Amenities need replacing. It's definitely not a bad place to live while going to Frostburg, but it could be a lot better. For someone fresh out of highschool with no life experience, this might be one of the better living solutions. But if you could afford a decent off campus property, i would vastly recommend that instead."

"I lived in Edgewood for two and a half years and loved it. The staff is extremely friendly and I loved knowing that my cost wouldn't vary month to month for heat or AC. The maintenance staff was always very nice and timely to fix repairs. It was also great to be able to store my belongings there over the summer!"

"Edgewood Commons has a premium price for under par living. Your students are young adults and must be treated as such in order to grow. I much prefer my current living situation in the Collegiate Flats apartments. BAFAS inc. has hotel quality furnishings and maintenance. Best of all we are treated with care. Make the right decision the first time."
