"This historic hotel is definitely worth a visit, especially if you're coming off the great Allegheny passage trail. You can wind down and dine, grab some beverages or go to the brewery nearby, then relax in your room and an excellent coffee bar in the lobby in the morning. Highly recommend"
"Historic building with modern beds and toilets. The beds are actually comfortable, firm with out the hammock design. Small museum downstairs. This place is a must see."
"We visited after bicycling on the GAP TRAIL. The lunch and drinks were great , service was very attentive , a very nice atmosphere in the bar / restaurant of this historic hotel!! We recommend coming to the Gunter Hotel!! The Main Street shops worth visiting also in beautiful Frostburg, Maryland !!!"
"Historic hotel in downtown Frostburg. Nice room with excellent mattress. Small bathroom. No chair or desk in room. Coffee is in the lobby as well as ice. Parts of the hotel are in disrepair. Nice bar and bier garden available. Limited check in time window."
