PM Pediatric Urgent Care

"AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. We went on a weekend evening and despite it not being busy, there was a long wait time although we had already booked an appointment in advance. The quality of care you'll get is also subpar. When I went, there was no doctor and just an assistant. Our kid had RSV and they never tested for it. They prescribed an antibiotic but the wrong dosage."

"We came in last Monday evening for our 19 month old and was pleasantly surprised to see the place totally empty. We barely had to wait and were seen almost immediately which we greatly appreciated. Also need to mention that everyone was very friendly and welcoming. However, the provider immediately diagnosed her without any testing/swabs. Stated that she heard her cough from down the hallway and was absolutely sure she had croup and gave her an oral steroid. She did take the time to do a quick physical exam and told us if she got worse or had trouble breathing to come back or head to the hospital. Being sleep deprived tired parents in the moment didn’t think to advocate and push for all the testing to make sure. That night things got worse and we ended up at the ER the next morning. The providers at the ER were sure it was NOT croup and that it was definitely RSV which testing proved that it was. We were glad we didn’t have to wait around forever in a crowded waiting room but felt like we were rushed for no reason as staff was sitting around with no other patients. I’m appreciative of the convenience but hesitant to come back and feel like we have to speak up about what needs to be done when that should be the providers responsibility."

"Staff was wonderful and caring, but the wait time was absolutely insane. When we arrived as walk-ins we were told to expect about a 2hr wait. We decided to wait and roll with it, as it was a Sunday and lots of sick kiddos this time of year, but it took over three hours to be seen by a doctor and be treated. we arrived at 3:35pm and didn’t walk out until 7:05pm. People that did have appointments were waiting well over an hour after their appointment times to be called back. It’s just not a very great way to operate. It would almost be better to not allow walk in appointments and require everyone to book in advance, and limit the number of appointments allowed. I also believe they only had one provider on staff who was running from room to room. He provided excellent care but it was a lot with a 12 month old."

"This Urgent Care isn't Urgent at all. Here is our experience: When my son and I arrived as walk-ins at 5:33 PM, we were informed that it would be a two-hour wait before we could be seen. The attendant assured us they would call us when they were ready. After returning two hours later, we were told they had tried to reach us and that it would take even more time. Surprisingly, there was no record of any calls or voicemails left, and I overheard they provided a similar excuse to another patient. I wrote this at 9:20 PM while waiting to be seen by a Dr or Nurse practitioner."

"Took my five year old daughter here for stitches after she fell, and had a good experience overall. Wait time was short on a Friday night, and nurses and doctors were all kind and professional. My only challenge was the checkin process. It’s completely online, but the app they have you use was very slow on my phone. It’s also inconvenient to have to type all of your medical inputs onto a small phone screen, but I was told that’s the only check in option available."
