"I've been struggling with severe trauma and mental illness my whole life, and honestly, the ketamine treatment sessions with Dr. Park has been incredible. He's so compassionate and easy to talk to, like 10/10 I would hang out with this guy. As someone who's had multiple sessions, my advice to anyone interested is to mentally prepare what you want to work on in your mind for when you go under, what kind of traumas do you want to face and hopefully heal, or explore spiritual and existential questions. Whatever is prominent on your mind will play huge role in how your sessions go. Some people can have bad trips and experiences and don't like the feeling it gives them. I think a big part of it is how comfortable you are facing yourself and your fears and how well you can navigate your mind and thoughts. If you're mentally ill or have severe traumas like me, chances are you spend a lot of time doing introspection, but just go into it reminding yourself that you're okay, and that all you have to do is simply be and let the experience wash over you. Try not to fight against where it goes and ride the wave. Ultimately, it's an experience that can't be described with words, and each session is different. I'm really grateful to Dr. Park and his nurses. They've taken such good care of me. Happy healing and remember to love yourself."
