About the Business
Loving 2 Learn Child Care Center, located at 3799 East-West Highway in Hyattsville, Maryland, is a school dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. With a comprehensive learning program, our mission is to inspire children to become lifelong learners, develop good character, and foster love for themselves, others, and God. Established in 1995 as a home-based daycare, Loving 2 Learn has grown and expanded over the years to become a trusted Christian-based childcare center for children ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Our center, located in the Redeemer Lutheran Church, has a strong reputation in the community and has served hundreds of children over the past 25 years. Our dedication to impacting children's lives in a meaningful way has earned us the 2019 Educational Award from The University of Maryland Judge Alexander Williams Jr. Center for Education, Justice, and Ethics program.

"My son has been at Loving 2 Learn for two years now, starting when he was a year old. He adores the teachers and has such a great time every day (usually he won't even wave goodbye because he's eager to start playing). They provide meals and snacks for the older kids, which is a huge help for working parents. There are lots of special activities throughout the year, arts and crafts, outdoor play, music, etc. The location is great if you commute by Metro -- right by PG Plaza station. I've recommended Loving 2 Learn many times to other local parents."
"Can't say enough good things about Loving2Learn (L2L). My son is now an alum from L2L, he was a Busy Bug, to a Shining Star, all the way to a Little Scholar, he's now in public school. L2L had a wonderful curriculum, and it was Christian based, so this was definitely an added bonus. The staff is wonderful, responsive, communicative (used the Tadpole app) and professional. We were always kept aware of anything that happened, no matter how big or small. Forever grateful for getting my son started on his educational journey."
"I first started my career here as an assistant while attending my high school. I interned here multiple days a week apart of my Child Development class. I then worked here while working on my teaching degree. This center is wonderful! From it’s diversity, creative curriculum, and it’s christian/character development this center really prepares them to be lifelong learners. As the quality of early childhood depends on the connection between parents and their child’s care providers, this center provides parents with a Tadpole communication app. This app allows teachers to share photos, videos, notes to parents throughout the day, record meals, activities, naps, and more to daily reports. These essential tasks correlate to the centers mission to provide all of the children in our care with a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment. I truly recommend this center!"
