"Being Punjabi, was thrilled to discover Sher-e-Punjab restaurant nearby. With excitement, I ordered dishes reminiscent of my Punjab in India. Eagerly bringing the food home, my enthusiasm quickly faded upon taking a bite. Unfortunately, it didn't resemble Punjabi cuisine, and to be honest, it didn't match the standards of any other Indian restaurant in the area. Every item was excessively spicy, even by Indian standard of Spicy food. To my surprise, I found some of the items in the same box at Apna Bazaar store next door, raising suspicions that they might have simply bought them from there. I wish there was an option to give 0 stars. I won't be returning."

"If you are hungry and want to get the dishes out in no time like magic on your plate, this is the restaurant to visit to get the quick service as well as to get the authentic food from India. They have the best combination for vegetarian options with a variety of bread options as well. Try the kulfi in the end to come fully satisfied. Owner is a nice person and servicing is good here. Price point is excellent and you will really surprised to see when other restaurants are increasing thier price like anything."

"It’s been there for a long time .. I remember eating here 6-7 years ago. I was passing by oak tree and wanted to re-visit them .. it was about 6 pm and I was craving for a quick tea and snack .. nicely located right in the heart of oak tree rd. Parking outside is good… it wasn’t crowded and hence the billing and service was quick . There were some tables inside to sit and eat … Was craving for mirchi bajji and it was pre made and kept close to the billing , so people can look at it and order . The only issue was, it wasn’t. Fresh . Once I ordered , they took a couple of bajjis and fried it and brought it back . Very average bajji. It was soggy and not crispy at all. It tasted a bit sour and tangy. Just had a couple of pieces and threw it out , after coming to home . Would have returned it if I had a taste in the shop itself . Disappointed ! Also orders to-go malai kulfi and of course - they gave me mango kulfi . I couldn’t return it and get my malai kulfi . But the taste of kulfi was superbbb. One of the best kulfis I have had in Oak tree area. Also ordered tea. It was average. Pricing was ok .. Overall a very average visit . Will probably go back some day to taste their food ."

"Based on a recommendation from a friend we tried dinner at this restaurant. We ordered , pannier tika , fish tika , makkidi roti & sarson ka saag, puri chole and mirchi bajji. To our surprise , paniier tikka was not made in tandoor , it was pan fried like chili pannier with full of onions and taste was not that great . Fish Tika was ok and right quantity. Makki roti & saag was very good . Puri was oily and china’s was ok . Overall ok experience for one time try ."
