Kura Revolving Sushi Bar

"I had a really good experience at Kura Revolving Sushi Bar , a sushi restaurant that originated from Japan and now has locations in the United States. The concept is simple and fun: you pick out the sushi that you want from a conveyor belt that runs through the restaurant. The sushi is fresh, tasty, and affordable, and you can also order other dishes from a touch screen. The service is fast and friendly, and you can even win prizes by playing a game after eating a certain number of plates. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who loves sushi and wants to try something different."

"If anyone wants to try sushi for the first time, then Kura is the place to do so! The fish is fresh and there's such a great variety of rolls. I've listed some of my favorites in the pictures below. Still have to say, the seared scallops are absolutely delicious! The dish may seem simple in design but is executed to perfection. Loved how you can taste the grill on the seared fish dishes. Kura is also a great place to have fun with good company while enjoying an array of flavors. The Texan Roll is on the top choices- the orange sauce adds a mild heat and blends well with the salmon. Additionally, the revolving sushi bar style is entertaining and provides you with freshly made rolls. You're also rewarded with a little gacha present after 15 plates. Further, if you're in the area or plan to visit often, Kura offers rewards to apply for future visits. I was thrilled to try Taiyaki for the first time as well. Such a yummy dessert! Overall, I cannot recommend Kura enough."

"Surprised I hadn't written this one sooner! Recommend: Popcorn chicken, salmon toro, umami oil seared beef, taiyaki Good: Hokkaido milk tart, salmon skin Not worth getting: warabimochi I think this is tough to review/recommend since everyone likes different cuts of fish. I even like scallop and found theirs not to be to my liking but some people enjoyed it a lot. The fish is decent quality in general but it's kinda pricey. The tart casing on the Hokkaido milk tart is kinda soft which detracted but I loved the custard filling. The umami seared beef was my favorite for sure. The salmon skin wasn't my favorite but we had people who LOVED it I think the tough thing is that when they open not all the options are available, but if you don't go when they open you could be subject to a ridiculous wait. Recommendation is to queue via the app. Potentially plan to do some shopping. Sadly not all of drinks are delivered by robot, it's hit or miss if a person will bring it for you It's definitely for the gimmick of the conveyor belt and the toy but I do enjoy it. The toys can be hit or miss for sure also but opening it is always fun."

"First time visiting a revolving sushi bar. I came with my wife and 2 kids. The staff was very courteous and helping. Explain how the revolving sushi bar works to us when we sat down. The sushi was better than I expected. The experience was fun and the atmosphere was great. My kids and I definitely enjoyed it."

"Try to get on the waitlist on their website 15 minutes prior to arrival to this sushi bar. Check in when you arrive and you will be called when a table is ready. I think this way, the wait time is shorter. I feel that the price for the sushi covers mostly for the experience and not the taste itself. The sushi were good but it’s nothing to write home about. It’s $3.95 per plate. So a conveyor with sushi plates goes around and you take what you want. By the time it got to our table, most of the sushi plates were gone. But luckily, you can also order from the touch screen above your table and it will come straight to your table through a different conveyor. So when you get to 15 plates, you get a ball with a surprise inside that drops from a container, which is fun for kids to watch. These plates gets counted when you return them in a slotted area at the end of your table. You can also order noodles from their menu. There’s very minimal staff interaction here. You start eating as soon as you’re seated if you see the sushi you want from the conveyor display. It’s pricey but unique experience."
