"This place has lost my business after today, I had been spending a fair share of cash here but the way they treat customers at checkout is demeaning and unacceptable, they hover over people like they’re going to steal, will literally not say a word and just start picking through your purchases finally opening their mouths only to ask if you scanned some particular item, it’s quite obvious what they’re up to and if 2nd Ave feels they need to treat every customer that comes through the door as a shoplifter than I can take my business elsewhere. I, like any normal person understand that theft is an issue at retail businesses, but there’s a way to go about theft prevention and that’s not paying multiple employees to harass anyone trying to buy something. If a business can’t have self checkout lanes without disrespecting their customers they simply shouldn’t have self checkout lanes"

"This was my first time shopping at this 2nd Ave Thrift and, WOW, was I disappointed. It’s almost insulting how jacked up these prices are. Forget shopping here for a loved one for the holidays - you can expect to pay $20-$30 for a used toy that this location received for free. Clothes prices are also unbelievably high; each item is priced like it’s a boutique or Gucci product. Also, there’s no reason for a set of 10 chipped and broken plates to cost $25. Maybe you can find a good deal on a glass vase - that was the only reasonably-priced aisle I encountered. This might be the largest thrift store I’ve visited so the selection is vast. It seems to be very well-kept and clean. Maybe you can find a deal tucked away in a corner after hours of searching. Nonetheless, I’d make more use of my money at a Walmart buying brand-new items than at this overpriced place. I won’t be returning."

"This was once my favorite thrift shop because it is very spacious, even when it’s crowded it doesn’t feel cramped. The lines can be extremely long however the time goes by quickly because of the efficiency of the cashiers especially Terri, whatever the problem may be, she can always resolve it in a professional manner, because of this store is now mostly self check out it is more difficult to get assistance when needed at checkout. The selection is large and most of it is reasonably priced, I never leave this store empty handed. One of the issues I have with this store is that the toy section seems to turn into an unattended daycare on the weekends that I have been there, and usually the parents are no where to be found. The periodic announcements over the PA system to keep your children with you is ignored by the parents. I do not feel that children should be unsupervised anywhere, however if they are playing in one area with a few toys that would not be a major concern for me. The majority of the children there are running, throwing toys, ripping toy bags open, laying on the floor, yelling, blocking aisles, taking toys apart and every other thing that children should not be allowed to do in a stores. This toy section is a disaster/lawsuit waiting to happen. If this store was more attentive to children left unattended, issues with loyalty points and less self checkouts it would be a wonderful shopping experience."

"First timer . Have been walking by this shop but never visited till now . It’s actually a hugeeee shop for a thrift shop. They have everything .. - home decors , kitchen things , dress , shoes , etc etc . Price of many items was much more than I thought . U have to look through slowly to get a good product with good price …. Lots of junk items inThe store . It’s almost like a garage sale but a bit more expensive… no trial rooms , no returns ! Slowww billing … average experience.."
