"I cannot find all the words that would capture everything Dr. Newhart did for our family on one our saddest days. In what seemed like the longest week of our lives we were battling an incurable diagnosis of our family dog of 14 years. After multiple vet visits and various tests, we made the extremely difficult decision to do at home euthanasia. I called several places and everyone said they were booked up or closed for the holidays. Finally on my last call I was referred to Vet In A Box that offered home euthanasia and cremation. The person on the phone said they too were closed, but that he would call Dr. Newhart and see if he was able to come out on his day off. He did! When Dr. Newhart arrived at our home he brought with him an energy of peace and compassion. He was extremely informative, empathetic, and patient. He made a heartbreaking experience for us the best it could possibly be and we will be forever grateful for that. I highly recommend Dr. Newhart and Vet In A Box."

"I was desperate. My beloved Billy was very sick. Vet In A Box was the third mobile vet I called ... my daughter was Googling mobile vets for me and I just kept calling them as she would text me links. The first two were not available to come that day and did not appear to be even willing to try. It was a very different experience when I called Vet In A Box. Dr. Newhart returned my call IMMEDIATELY. He said he was at a vaccine clinic but would step away and call me back in 5 minutes for more details, adding that he was not sure he could come that day. Again, I just sighed. However, after our conversation, he seemed to understand my desperation and said he would come to my home to see Billy. I'm not sure what else he had to do that day, but he made time for me and Billy. As we both had already anticipated, it was time for Billy to go to Cat Heaven and Dr. Newhart was just so kind, so compassionate, and instantly felt more like a caring friend than a vet. He was right there on the floor with me and Billy and being so ever gentle with Billy. He did everything he could do to make a very sad occasion as best as it could be - and you know what - it was enough. It really was. Billy went in peace. I just can't say enough about Dr. Newhart. Thank you Dr. Newhart."

"We are so grateful to Dr. Newhart for helping us say goodbye to our dog Cash. He was extremely understanding, empathetic, and compassionate and his manner was very re-assuring. He even sent us a sympathy card the following week."
