"The Groomers at this specific Pet Smart do not know what they are doing. I made an appointment for my dog 3 days before Christmas and chose a specific groomer when I made the appointment online and turns out someone completely different cut his hair, this guy did a terrible job. I took my dog in the day of his appointment and the lady at the front desk told me “We might charge a 10-20 dollar fee for the time we spend de matting him” She had also mentioned they were very busy due to the holidays. I told her it was fine because I knew he had some knots on him. I told her I would like for them to de-matt as much as they could so his hair wouldn’t be cut so short. I had also mentioned I wanted a slight trim on his tail. I returned to pick him up and was shocked by the way he looked. His hair was completely shaved off to his skin as well as his tail. The only hair left on his tail was on the very tip and it was left long which looks absolutely horrible. I also mentioned I wanted his face round and it was not cut round whatsoever. My dog came out of the groomers with a chunk of hair hanging from the bottom of his neck. I could also clearly see a line between his head and his neck that shows the length difference from his head which was left much longer. The groomer who cut his hair was a Male, don’t know his name. It looks like they just didn’t want to spend time brushing out his knots because they were busy so they just decided to shave it off. I did not even receive a call asking if it was okay to shave off his hair, which I would’ve very much appreciated. I have only token my dog to the groomers once which was at the Pet Smart in Sterling and it was great. I will NEVER bring my dog here again. Customer service is horrible. This was not the haircut I asked for and if they weren’t able to do what I asked for, why not just call me and ask if I still wanted them to do something different? This is my dog not theirs, so they shouldn’t have done this without consent from me anyway. The price I paid for this terrible haircut was crazy. I was charged and extra $50 for the time spent to de-matt him which was apparently “1 hour”Even though they shaved him off, so what was the point of the de-matting anyway? I was left speechless. This groomer did what ever he wanted to do on MY dog, and what ever he did, It looks absolutely horrible. Would not recommend him to cut any dogs hair, someone needs some more training… I will not be spending a penny on someone like him to cut my dogs hair again."

"I took my small dog to get a hair cut and told the lady I wanted a trim on his tail. I was aware my dog had knots and needed a good brush and was aware I may be charge extra apart from $74 but was not expecting to pick up my dog and seen him shave off including his rail except for the tip of it. My daughter started crying seeing him like that. I went back after paying at the cashier and was told he needed to be shaved off because he had knots. I then realized I got charged $40 for brushing then another $10 for handling the dog plus the $74. I told the groomer at the other location they didn’t shaved him off previously and he had more knots than this time. I felt so bad and regretted going there. I had also chosen a different person to the job and when I got there someone else had done it. I wasn’t expecting to see my dog like this specially for having him like this on this weather and also for the holidays.Clearly they didn’t take their time and I know they were busy but I would had preferred to be called and said he needed to be shaved off prior and would have said no and picked him up. I would never bring him back to this place. The Sterling one has way more experience and patience."

"I've been bringing my bernadoodle Ammo here to get groomed for years now. Darma and the friendly staff know him by name. They do an excellent job making him look handsome."

"I guess it was a bad day for both me and the manager staffs at Pet Smarts the other day when I arrived to return my carpet cleaning machine without the white receipt which i never got it from start. After wait in line for a long time All i had was the big pink receipt which they said that they were unable to return my deposit with out the white one even though i have the machine with me and felt that they can trace back several hours ago which is when i have came in to rented it. I had to waited for the manager to finish the line until she got to me only to tell me that I can’t get my deposit back. After my frustration she went back and got a gentleman manager to help me but his frustration raised up to the point that he had to tell me to shut my mouth already. I felt that the reason i was talking was when he was talking to me but when he didn’t feel like hearing what i was saying then he will then told me to shut. Unfair. Got my cash deposit at the end but left feeling that the situation was uncalled for since i know that they could have returned my money without all that unnecessary frustration."
