Cafe Milano

"Decided to check this place out about a year ago after seeing it on Veep and was not disappointed. I would say the Linguini B. Johnson was perhaps the best non dairy pasta dish I've had and the Tagliatelle Zegna was also very good. We also got a salmon appetizer that doesn't appear to be on the menu anymore, which we thought was pretty good but overpriced for the portion size. Judging by the description of the current menu the current appetizers could be a similar story. I felt like we got our money's worth on the entrees though."

"A classic Italian restaurant in Washington DC and perhaps one of the iconic restaurants in George Town. I have Known this place since the early 2000s and always maintained the excellent quality of food and service. Love their Veal Milanese the most"

"Cafe Milano has been a DC establishment for many years. It’s (mostly) consistently great food and fantastic drinks. Amazing wine list with a great selection of European wines. The service was friendly but got slower as they got busier in the evening, had to wait for a while to ask for the check."

"The food we ate was great however I ordered a salad and had a spider on mine and when we complained he shook it off like it was no big deal because the salad was "so organic." The drinks were great but be careful because we ordered a vodka cranberry which was $15 which is normal but there specialty cocktail was $25. Definitely not worth that much because you only got a thimble worth. Wouldn't bother going back but the food was good."

"If I had one word, it would be... obsessed! Was here for a work dinner. This was a fantastic experience. I loved it! Service was impeccable, but not pretentious. I had the branzino, stuffed squash blossoms and the vanilla meringue for dessert."
