"Update! Two years later, we DID come back and buy boots from HMS, and from Jamie, no less! It turns out I have extremely difficult feet, but the staff, undaunted, spent collective HOURS trying to size, fit, and alter my boots. They remain wildly knowledgeable, passionate, and just generally fantastic to interact with. Can't wait to come back this summer and rent some paddle boards from them. :) I popped by HMS with my boyfriend to look into buying our own skis. We knew NOTHING, not even that boots are not bindings and are sold separately from skis. Seriously unknowledgeable, total beginners. We ran into a rep called Jamie as soon as we walked in who ultimately spent an hour with us walking us through all the basics, sizing us, teaching us terms, and just generally being EXTREMELY passionate and wonderful to speak with. 11/10 experience. I live 5 hours away, but it’s my hope to come back and buy from this place. They give me a good vibe."

"Super easy rental experience. Pulled up out front and an employee greeted us with rental forms at our car. When they were ready for us, we walked in and tried on boots before leaving. Returning was been easier. In and out in less than 5 minutes. Would have preferred to be able to reserve skis ahead of time rather then run the risk of being ski-less."
