"Westwood Pet Center has been open one month and moved from West Bard. It is two doors down from Chico's and Subway on way to the street level the entrance to Safeway. Great store great selection nice proprietors. So many pets in Sumner Village and Brookmont that we needed a pet store. This store is a great addition to the neighborhood! Prices are fair and selection is good with high end pet food brands and treats. You will also find toys, collars, harnesses. Bring your dog in for a visit! Anna and her Staff are great."

"I have been a customer of Westwood pet center for 13 years - they recently moved to a new location and I am happy I found them again! It is the best pet store ever, they have a great selection of pet food and other items, including speciality dog foods. Anna, the owner of the store is so knowledgeable, patient, and kind - she’s answered all of my many questions when we got our second puppy, Leo. I would recommend this store to every dog parent!"

"I had heard that Westwood Pet Center was a great place, and I had visited it some years ago when it was located in Westbard. I have had a new dog since October and visited the store some months ago. The person who helped me was very nice and told me if I was not satisfied, to bring the item back. Well, whoever is there now did not present as such a kind person. I tried to return some chews I bought a week ago that were so hard my little dog nearly choked on them. I thought the store ought to know and perhaps these chews had been in the store too long. When I explained this to the woman today, she lectured me about how the harder the chew, the better for the dog's teeth. She insinuated that I did not know how to take care of my dog's teeth. Then she reluctantly offered a store credit because the computer was down and she could not refund what I paid. I did not want a store credit since her attitude was so unpleasant that I will not visit that store again. I left the chews and got no refund."

"Westwood Pet Center is my new go to place for anything dog related. They have a wide variety of good quality dog food as well as requisite treats like dried beef lung. They have products for cats as well obviously. What separates them from the chain stores is the personalized service. Its owner operated and she is very responsive. Super helpful that it is open 7 days a week. nothing more annoying than realizing you've run out of dog food Saturday night. Prices are reasonable as well. Couldn't ask for more."

"Amazing staff and very knowledgeable. Adopted two cats there and it was a great experience. Only local pet supply store in my area who sells organic fermented raw food for cats and dogs! Love these folks they are really great people!"
