"What a neat restaurant in National Harbor. This is a restaurant located in the Waterfront District on the historic Potomac River. It advertises that it, “... is helping the people of Oxon Hill find their spicy place, one piece of flame-grilled PERi-PERi chicken at a time.” It originated in a small town in South Africa in 1987 and has grown to include locations all across the globe. It is only a few minutes from Washington, DC in the National Harbor complex. There is a convenient parking garage right across the street. It is casual dining. As you enter the restaurant you are taken to a table. There is a QR code that allows you to order online. It was a remarkably quick process. The restaurant is a mixture of tables and booths with many different styles of art on the wall. The space between the tables is a little tight so is hard to get a stroller around. The food was delivered to the table within 10 minutes. The chicken had a very good taste. The restaurant was clean and the staff was pleasant. The prices are reasonable for the area with bowls between$10 and $14. Overall, it was a pleasant experience and I would recommend this to anybody looking for a good meal at a reasonable price in the National Harbor area."

"#review #yelp We had had a long day with our conference, and I was looking to find something flavorful and tasty for dinner. Given the options that I had at National Harbor, I decided to go to Nando Nando’s. Now I’ve heard of this place quite frequently because I’ve seen the sauces at the store, but I’ve never actually been able to go in. They only have a few American locations in DC and in Chicago. I found the interior very colorful, very bright and very inviting. They had options for takeout as well as options to dine in the restaurant. Now I appreciate my QR codes and menus and the coolest part about this is that you can see yourself use the QR code on the table and look at the menu, and then order whatever you wanted for yourself and the process you just hang out And get to enjoy the interior of the restaurant. I had entered my table number, and my food came out in a really good amount of time. I was able to try some of the actual sauces up at the counter. . I actually got the halloumi appetizer sticks, pea mash, and macaroni and cheese. The halloumi appetizer sticks were amazing. They were so good along with that sauce. I also got the mashed peas which were very tasty and very flavorful. It was a wonderful way to enjoy some beautiful vegetables. The Mac and cheese was good but my least favorite of the items… and that’s typically my favorite! I was really very pleased with my experience, and this may have been some of the best food I had in National Harbor."

"My colleague and I left there full of wonderful thoughts about the food and full bellies. Absolutely delicious. Staff equally friendly! Looking forward to another experience. We got the rainbow bowl with chicken and the hot chicken breast with rice and corn. We also tried the custard dessert. All fabulous!"

"While staying in DC, I ate at this restaurant twice! This is a definite spot to hit up. They have eat in or dine out option. There is seating inside and outside. If you like spicy flavors or just want to have something plain, or you can pick a flavor in between. I had Rainbow chicken bowl with roasted Brussel sprouts. It was so delicious. The second night I had a crunchy chicken wrap with the roasted brussel sprouts again… so delicious! My friend had the chicken skewers and cauliflower, she liked them as well. They make their own lemonade and blood orange lemonade - very good! This place was referred to us by a friend, let me tell you… it did not disappoint!!! Great food, great prices, great atmosphere, what else is there to say! Enjoy!"
