"honestly my best experience with food in an airport ever!! our waitress was so friendly & took care of everything we needed. the food was delicious and worth every penny."
"Normally, I try to avoid eating at airports, especially at non- national chains. However, a few months ago I found myself at IAD with a long layover. We stopped by Bar Symon and it is potentially the best food I have ever had at an airport. I chose the Fat Doug Burger which has pastrami and swiss cheese on it. The menu may be limited, but what I got appeared to be well thought out and very nicely executed by the kitchen. I was pleasantly surprised and did not anticipate having such a good, burger at an airport. The server was courteous and took great care of us during the time we were there. She checked on us several times and quick with drink refills. The food was brought to our table quickly, and tasted as though it was fresh made. I do not fly into IAD frequently, but when I return, I will be certain to go Bar Symon. I just wish there was a freestanding one of these near me or even at my home airport. I noticed they did have a beyond burger for the vegetarians. It is airport food, so it is going to be pricy. However, it was in line with what i expected to pay at an airport and what I got was superior to anything else I have eaten at an airport for this price point."
"Surprisingly decent. I mean, it's airport food but the potatoes were actually crispy and the arugula fresh. I wish that they had spoons or real silverware instead of plastic."
"Not only is this the best airport restaurant I've ever eaten at, it also produced one of the best burgers l've ever had the pleasure of devouring. The Polish plate was spot on too. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable. Decor was relaxing. Highly recommended."
"Super awesome atmosphere, food, and customer care. The food was great and everyone I encountered here was super sweet and made me feel so welcomed and just had an overall great experience. Ayda was my server and she was just lovely, as was the man that brought me out my food. Would recommend this place to anyone. ☺️✨"
