"I wish this would allow me to give them 0 stars. I canceled this policy almost a month ago, still have no refund. Then they just charged my account another $182. I have emailed and asked them to cancel again. They said they canceled it. I have asked for the dollar amount of my refund they are just ignoring me. I contacted Steadily, the insurance provider and they said they also emailed them and told them to cancel immediately. This is absolutely the worst company for insurance, the customer service is horrible and the communication is horrible! I’ve been charged over $1000 for an insurance policy I used for 2 months, my requests to cancel my policy were ignored repeatedly, then when they said it was canceled they didn’t cancel it and charged me another 3 months of coverage a month later!!!!! Biggest scam of an insurance company every! The least they could do is give me a dollar amount for my refund!!!!!"

"The adjuster wasn't contacted until 8 days after the claim on the roof. There is a purchase agreement on the house and is supposed to close the 29th. This won't happen! American Modern dropped the ball somewhere. I am extremely unhappy with the service. Carolyn Carnley"

"Good experience with American modern. I had some wind damage back in August 2023. The first claim adjuster gave me some resistance and took a while to handle my claim. Americans noticed the claim was still not closed. So they gave me a better claim adjuster and the adjuster answered my claim in seconds. We all have experienced difficult people in companies. Especially, the big-name insurance groups. We as people need to speak up and allow the company to see what is going on with their company. Once noticed, a representative was mishandling a customer. Action was taken. Thank you American Modern for my claim adjuster!!"

"On August 26th, my friend and her husband were attacked by their neighbor who set their house, fence, and car on fire. This insurance company and the agent on their case has not been answeing their calls or responding to messages for the past two weeks. This is absolutely unacceptable. Sure, handling these things may take time, but at least have the decency to speak to these people who just had this tramatic experience and now have to deal with the aftermath with NO assitance! They live in Mesa, AZ. Get it together and stop playing with people's livelihoods."
