Picca Pollo A La Brasa

"Are you craving Peruvian food?! Craving chicken and somewhat healthy food?! This place is for you! I don’t eat Peruvian food often but when I took my first bite into the chicken and Seco de carne. I would give this place a 4.5 but I can’t do 4 stars, it’s too good to be a 4. This place is owned by Sardis but feels more like a dine in versus take out. 5 stars for 5 reasons 1. The best thing i had was the Seco de carne which Beef short ribs simmered in a cilantro/beer sauce. Served with white rice and canary beans. THIS IS SO GOOD! It’s so tender, flavorful and just melts in your mouth. Kinda pricey but worth it! Give you 4 pieces and it’s enough to share. $28 dollars. The chicken is your typical Peruvian chicken! This is exactly the same as SARDIS! 2. The appetizer we got was papa rellena and it’s so good when it’s fresh! $13 dollars and the dessert tres leche is perfect! Not too sweet or overwhelming like most tres leche I typically have. 3. This place is very similar to Sardis but it’s feel more homie. The decor and the lighting feels welcoming and inviting. 4. The service is ok! Not the best and we still tipped 20 percent because our waitress was busy! Nice folks and provided fast service when we requested more sauces and to-go boxes. 5. The prices is kinda pricey but I think it’s fairly price for what you get! What you will get is fresh and super yummy food! Give it a try and you will not regret it!"

"Prices have increased and the quantity and quality of food has fallen. Very sad as we used to love Picca. The empanadas were not eatable, we threw them out after a bite. The yucas were good but they give you a handful with the family pack. We used to get a large white box full of yucas. I have no problem with higher prices but don’t cut portions and quality…"

"One of, if not the most, incredible Peruvian restaurant I have been to in all of Maryland. Upon entering, the ambiance and decor in the restaurant is colorful and modern, with an absolutely Latin American flair and beautiful mural celebrating Perú in rainbow colors along the back wall by the bar. Our server Enrique was incredibly kind, very knowledgeable about the menu, and just a great guy in general. He was always very attentive to our table and we barely waited what felt like three minutes before food came out! The Papá a la Huancaína and Chicharrones de Cerdo came out first, both were phenomenal and the presentation was beautiful. Then came the most delicious Arroz con Pollo you could ever have (which is oddly hard to find in Maryland in the first place), as well as an absolutely mouthwatering Seco de Carne. Although the price per plate was $20 and up, the amount of food we received was enough to take home almost half of what we were served. Combined with the quality of the food, it was more than worth every penny spent. We loved the Chicha Morada and their Maracuyá Sours, but unfortunately didn't have a chance to try any of the delicious desserts. All the more reason to return very soon!"

"The food really disappointed us. We had the calamari, lomo saltado, tacu tacu a lo pobre and carne asada. Calamari was the only food that was good. The rest was below average. The steaks had a raw smell in it - no seasoning, tasted bland and dry."

"If your looking for Peruvian food, this is an amazing option! We tried the calamari, lomo saltado and steak anticuchos. Portions are spot on for the price. Everything tasted really good, no complaints, I left happy! Would recommend to anyone looking for a good meal!"
