"I have been with Maury Donnelly and Parr for the better part of 10 years. The agent I had left the company and no one contacted me to let me know. Renewal time came up and I had a significant increase. I reached out to have someone help me, mind you their answering service is terrible. You have to know the agents extension to speak to an agent and the receptionist never answers. An agent contacted me back, and only offered to increase my deductible to lower my annual premium. She did not offer to quote me other policies. In the end, my mortgage company had the wrong invoice which resulted in them overpaying by a little over $75 Which I might add to this day I never received a refund for. The agent refused to help me, kept saying that I needed to deal with my insurance company and then mortgage company. This year I had a similar experience but worse. Renewal came in. Higher then I was willing to pay. I reached out to cancel the policy. In the end, this agent never canceled the policy. She did quote me three other policies. I did tell her the new one that I wanted to go with. Her failure to notify my current insurance company resulted in my Mortgage company paying the current insurance company, leaving me with no money to pay The new policy. The pure lack of service through the entire entire mess was enough to make me leave them. I highly recommend that you stay away."

"I have exchanged emails with one of their agents and received absurd responses to my inquiries. She claimed that she had found a missing receipt from “Dad” and asked about the construction of my building and attached two identical cancellation forms for ME! She claimed that my son told her that I no longer needed my condo insurance. When I asked her what his name was, she followed up with an email saying that my insurance was fine. My initial request was whether they had an HO-6 policy, so I could conform to my condo’s expectation. I had made the same inquiry last year and she said they don’t have an HO-6 policy, but hoped they would this year. I think that she simply wanted to get off the phone. UTTERLY USELESS. I don’t recommend that anyone use this agency. I have remained with the insurance company, found another agency and am having great service so far."
