"My husband and I had been eyeing this place for a year and were finally able to go! An amazing combo and definitely worth the wait. Had some delicious Ethiopian tea (first time and got one to go, it was so good!) and some of the best sushi I've had in the city (so fresh)! To top it off, the owners are super kind and welcoming. "Found this place after leaving the DC self inspection kiosk to renew my car registration. It was such a good find! The husband is a trained Japanese sushi chef and wife runs the restaurant, bakery, cafe and makes the Ethiopian food. The sushi rice was perfect and fish was fresh. The Ethiopian tea (I asked for less sugar) was delicious and such a treat. The Ethiopian veggie platter was so tasty we cleaned off the entire plate after asking for more injera. It’s quaint and homey, and the hosts could not be more hospitable. Will return!"
"The sushi was so fresh and tasty. You can tell it was good quality fish. The spicy chicken sambusas were also SO GOOD! So much flavor. The owner was so helpful and let me sample some coffee and sushi. Love a family owned spot that delivers on freshness and flavor!"
