"Great safe place to spend the night and relax! Alex at the front desk is just amazing. Traveling by myself to MD to visit my father, also first time spending a night alone at a hotel Alex working the front desk night shift helped resolved an issue with my key very professionally and kindly. I would definitely come back when I'm in town! Very quiet, clean room, and a safe atmosphere."

"I’m not a complainer, but I feel it necessary to give an honest review because of our disappointment with this facility. We chose to stay here because of the positive reviews we saw online. It was a distance from the Annapolis waterfront area we preferred, but we thought the reviews justified our decision. We were wrong. The facility looked good from the outside and inside with the renovations that were done. The room, however, was decidedly poor. Outlets for devices on both sides of the bed were defective; there was a ceiling vent in the bathroom shower area that was rusted and in need of replacement; there was poor water flow in the bath sink; there was NO water from the shower. The young man at the front desk called for fix it help at 9:00 pm, but the help never came. Finally, I called the front desk and politely but firmly asked for another room - a thing which should have been done but wasn’t offered when I first reported the above problems. So at 9:30 pm, we were packing up and moving for an acceptable shower and rest. Summary: Appearances - B+ Cleanliness - A Attitude of front desk representatives - B+ Response of staff to problems - F Quality of room - F Value - F We were mistaken in our faith in this facility. This is not the experience we think of when we think Crown Plaza. The good reviews of this property, in our opinion, are considerably overstated. We would NOT stay at this property again. It gives Crown Plaza a bad name."

"Very nice place to stay. We were there for one night, checked in before the Military Bowl and checked out the next morning. Room was pretty basic, two beds, desk, bathroom. It did have a refrigerator and coffee maker. Four of us stayed, but only towels for two. There is an indoor pool and hot tub, but the jets in the hot tub weren't working (it didn't matter, after spending several hours in a torrential downpour at the game). Check in and out were easy. Plenty of parking even with the game. Staff were friendly and helpful."

"This is not a nice hotel at all. There are better options in the area. Coffee is not available in the rooms and costs $3 per cup. One of the elevators is broken and it doesn't look like they're going to fix it anytime soon. The room and carpet smells. The water filter in the workout room is broken. The WiFi doesn't work. This is the first and last time I'll ever stay at a Crowne Plaza. This is a thoroughly disappointing experience. There are much better options in the area. I'd highly recommend nearby hotels. This place is a hot mess. Update: Donald White and Crowne Plaza have canned responses to dissatisfied customers. Just take a look. They're disconnected from their customer base and it's clear they won't take time to understand or acknowledge their shortcomings. I expect more from IHG, but it's clear this is their standard. This is truly disappointing."

"The toilets are designed for toddler. If you're tall I would not recommend you going here. We rather use the bathroom in the lounge area. Everything else was great. The breakfast. The customer service was excellent, and the location. The room can't compare to all of that."
