Best Western Annapolis

"Well situated for access to Annapolis, lobby is updated and nice. However, sits next a major roadway and the rooms have no sound insulation. We were in the back building and it sounded like we were sitting on the shoulder. Also, breakfast is supposed to end at 930, but they stop refilling food at 830. Show up at 9 and you get cereal."

"Guest above us was up all night keeping us awake. No elevator so you need to do stairs if you don't want our experience. :/ Room was small but nice. Lobby was nice and good breakfast"

"Booked a non-smoking room, got a very smelly smoking room next to the freeway. We asked to change because of my asthma and the smoke/mold smell x3 over 2 days but they said they couldn't. This part of the hotel area didn't feel safe at all. The room had broken faucets that poured water everywhere, a broken toilet seat, a room phone and barely worked (all the buttons etc, I had to try a few times to be able to contact the front desk.) People were selling cars out of the parking lot and I assume from what we saw - they are living in the hotel. On night 3/4 they finally moved us which was good. This room was better and in the main building, non smoking and a little better repair, but it had cockroaches. They did offer to spray the room when I mentioned it the next day, but we don't want the fumes. All in all it was one awful stay. We booked through a 3rd party which made it worse and they definitely didn't care. I do have to say, Jasiah that worked the breakfast area was fantastic and kept it topped up and clean! He was the only positive part of our stay! For a BW I was shocked I just saw another review (Wendy) who was a 3rd party booking and seemed to get the same smoking part of the hotel and very unconcerned front desk as well."

"I checked in and was given a smoking room. They blamed it on third party booking even though I booked directly through Best Western. The room positively reeked, even after spraying the room with the "anti-weed" spray I was given. All my clothes smelled of smoke, absorbing the smell in the air. To be fair, after the first night, I was able to shift to the non-smoking room I had reserved. That room was clean and acceptable. The location was convenient and the breakfast was nice. I was offered a 25% discount but was charged the full amount. I have called four days in row and have yet to achieve anything besides being sent to the manager's voicemail. I have yet to receive even an acknowledgement, let alone a refund."
