"Store seems to be perpetually understaffed. Long lines with often self-checkout as the only option. During my most recent visit, carts were stacked in front of the exit door and in the vestibule between the exit doors, obstructing the exit. Had to move the carts out of the way to clear a path. Parking lot at night lacks adequate lighting. Lot lights have been inoperable for months. Light carts had been used and some of the lights have been repaired but it’s still an ongoing safety issue."

"They have a Starbucks inside. This target is awesome! Huge, great staff and managers."
"Although this Target usually has what I need. The racism is REAL. Even with the black workers. Especially at the drive up. They always serve white customers before they give me my stuff. No matter if I come first or not. They will still go to all the white drivers before me. Once I would be like ok, mistakes happen but literally every time I come to pick up an order I am waiting longer than anyone else. I started coming to this one over the Waldorf location for other reasons. But I’ll go back to the other location at least they are not discriminatory against black customers."
"Target has been remodeled over the past year and is looking great inside. They have some great deals on snack foods but at times you'll do better going next door to Safeway. (Safeway has more house brands.) You can't beat Target for getting your imagination flowing for projects, diversions, and decorating though! During the pandemic, the store profited from online shopping orders. Expect to see that kind of service expanding going forward. They continue to face staff shortages. Teens report enjoying working here as compared to Safeway because it pays better and offers more structure and training. Having a Target was a good selling point for us when we moved to La Plata."
