"The team was wonderful! I worked with Jessica and she was patient, knowledgeable and pulled a dress that I thought I wasn't really going to be in to. Well, it ended up being my dress!!! She has the experience to look for key features that a bride is desiring while also maybe expanding the vision to see if others may work. Alls to say, I had tried on several gowns in the silhouette I thought I wanted, and each time I was disappointed in the fit. Ultimately what I thought I wanted just didn't work well with my short, petite torso. Janice the owner is an expert in her craft, she made sure to check in on me while sharing her expert opinions and helping to accessorize so I had a real idea of the full look. She's a charming lady and I really appreciate her passion and the PLAYLIST in the salon. It's fabulous! My wedding is this January and I was able to find the dress of my dreams, that will need customizations and still have some time to spare in terms of arrival date vs. Wedding date. One last thing, I went in alone by choice and everyone made me feel welcomed and not at all odd for taking on a solo mission! Thank you Serendipity!"

"I definitely had an experience of a lifetime at Serendipity and my only regret is not finding out about them a lot earlier in my dress shopping journey. Worth the drive to La Plata for any city brides in the DMV area! From the moment I spoke to Jess over the phone, it was such a lovely experience. The location is gorgeous and I was not prepared for the intimate details of welcoming me by name or in the dressing room. I nearly cried when I saw a photo of my fiancé and I framed in the fitting room. Unfortunately I was extremely late to my appointment due to unaccounted for traffic, yet Jess welcomed me and my mom and never made us feel rushed. She even spent time past closing to help me try on again the dress I loved. I didn’t get a chance to purchase my dress through them at no fault of their own, it’s mostly because my wedding is only a few months away and the rush delivery isn’t something I wanted to do. Like I said I wish I had found out about them 4-6 months prior but will gladly recommend any future bride to them that I speak to!! Beautiful place, service, experience and dresses! The whole package! Highly recommend!"
