"I grew up coming to Mario's. It was always good. I enjoyed the location. The food was good. I enjoy it when I have the chance to come to Arlington to be able to come to Marios. But I don't know if I will be coming back, because small steak and cheese is now $15. A large is $20. 4 pieces of pizza, $15 with no toppings. It's like the price is gotten to be too much for the average person for lunch or dinner. I miss Joe and Lefty. It's not the same old Mario's."

"Good concept, open late night but the prices are a rip off. Banking on late night customers often buzzed, or had a few drinks their price for a steak and cheese $17.99. This is next to the pizza menu that starts at $22.99 and goes up quickly. There is no inside seating just outside with a roof but. Like I said if you are too under the influence to care then eat at this place. Definitely there is no love in making the food here. Just bucks!"

"We were there this past weekend. $78 for 2 large subs, small sub and one kids hot dog- no drink only food. We have visited this spot since 2003. We won’t go back for a long time. We noticed the beef lacked flavor and the cabbage with the dressing amount seemed to have been cut by half, as if it needed more of that delicious dressing they used to slap on it generously. So sad to see a place like this go down hill. Not sure it they have new owners? New management? Then had to wait 10 min. To get 2 packs of hot sauce. The atmosphere: fun and cute area set up outside with real and fake plants throughout their outside sitting area. 9-10 picnic tables and cover in case of rain. Plenty of parking, but no public restrooms for their patrons."

"Well….end of an era. Mario’s was the BEST low cost pizza in the area for decades. I would take the Metro from McLean, VA…then walk 4 blocks to enjoy their two slice pizza combo (with drink). The photo on the left- the original Mario’s. On the right- Pizza only a 7-Eleven customer could love. Needless to say this is my last visit. So disappointing."
