"Visited last night with a party of 8. The restaurant is modern spacious and very comfortable. The food and drinks were excellent, with the best mussels I have tasted in Maine.The chef even came out to ask us if we enjoyed our meal..nice touch We will definitely be back again."
"Worst experience....it's in a hotel lobby looking at Doritos at the front desk and the breakfast area. Hostess is waitress, no reservations needed...never got appetizer, wine sample was charged a full glass, bar was half stocked, steak was over cooked and sides were bland. Wrong wine was delivered and I cancelled the order....DO NOT COME HERE!"
"First time eating at this restaurant (they opened in Oct 2022). I had the spaghetti and clams. It was very good and the broth was absolutely outstanding. I also had the chocolate martini after my meal. It was like drinking a liquid brownie. Our server was awesome and had great recommendations. Other people in our party had the fish and chips. They weren't as thrilled with their meal as they both felt the fish had too much batter. Overall, great visit and I would definitely eat here again."
"The Alto Restaurant is a Brunch delight as you are treated to warmly yet efficiently to any brunch beverage you desire. Warm fresh-roasted bean coffee is never empty while served hot plates of choice selections of perfectly made-to-order eggs, tasty meats, and any sweet side baked or griddle-flipped creation you desire. This wonderful makes me realize how long it has been since every portion on my plate was served perfectly hot! Our Server had a radiant smile and was as kind as she was efficient. Her tourism advice hastened our priority list of the day! What a living doll! Thank you to this Beautiful Brunette! In a city with lots of great food but not much in traditional American breakfasts; walk a couple more blocks to this new and beautiful 4th floor spot to be treated like kings and queens and take your time on a wonderful weekend too!"
