About the Business

Andy's Old Port Pub

Located in the heart of Portland's Old Port neighborhood, Andy's Old Port Pub is a hidden gem for locals, islanders, fishermen, and music lovers alike. Tucked away between Gilbert's Chowder House and the Casco Variety Store, this waterfront watering hole offers a warm welcome and an authentic taste of the area.

Andy's menu features fresh fish & chips, mouth-watering burgers, homemade meatloaf, salads, wraps, and pizzas that rival those of New York. With options for vegetarians and those with special dietary needs, the pub's bartenders and cooks are always willing to accommodate.

Live acoustic music sets the scene every evening, while local beers and sustainable seafood choices from the Gulf of Maine Research Institute's Culinary Partners Program make Andy's a popular gathering spot. The pub takes pride in offering Gulf of Maine seafood, including white fish, clams, mussels, scallops, and lobster sourced from nearby fishermen.

Whether you're looking for a delicious meal, a refreshing drink, or a lively atmosphere, Andy's Old Port Pub is the place to be. Conveniently located near the Casco Bay Ferry Terminal and downtown hotels, it's the perfect spot to relax and enjoy the best of Portland's culinary scene.

"Rugged, soccer loving crowd type venue that didn’t disappoint. Bartender Steve was fabulous & friendly and one of the best no nonsense Bloody Mary’s ever. Avocado toast was very tasty. Public parking lot right next store. Recommended by a sports loving friend. Glad I stopped!"

"A great local place! I was in town for a work trip and went here with a group of seven people. The restaurant was about to accommodate by pushing some tables together. We sat up front and were certainly entertained by the live music. The food itself was great! I got the lobster roll which was absolutely perfect. My coworkers said good things about the chowder and potato skins. Andy's also had a great list of locally made beers. I definitely saved this place in my favorites so I can go again on my next trip to Portland!"

"We stopped for a quick lunch. I loved the place. Local, neighborhood pub with great service and good food. The place looks neat. The pulled pork sandwich was good and the fries were excellent. I would go there often if I was from there ."

"My husband and I stopped in for a quick bite and were 100% charmed with the service, the food and the atmosphere! We had a lobster roll and the clam chowder. Both were delicious but the lobster roll was fantastic! Warmed with drawn butter is the way to go. Huge chunks of succulent, melt-in-your-mouth lobster was the best lunch a girl could hope for! We had two delightful and very attentive servers! Ari and T were great! They were friendly, knowledgeable and by the time we left, after talking about our dogs, our beauty tricks and our significant others I felt like they were old friends and we were just catching up! All in all, it was a wonderful experience with wonderful food and I highly recommend trying it out and asking for Ari and T! If you do, tell them Kristen from Utah says "hello"!"

"Cool spot where the locals seem to hang out. They have various board games on site for you to enjoy. I tried the Lobster Bruschetta as I had never had it before. For the price, I would opt for the Lobster roll next time. My Husband had the Pulled Pork Poutine and it was delicious! Our side order of fries came out cold and our server was quick to replace with piping HOT ones."
