"Skiing at Mt Abram’s with a scout troop and 16 people to feed - we just spent $250 to feed us all after a long day of snow skiing. Everyone’s sitting around the wood stove smiling as the snow falls around us. Ribs / brisket had good bark, was made fresh. Ribs ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brisket ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Pulled pork ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Baked beans ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Corn ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Smoked almonds ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cole slaw ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Cornbread ❔❔❔❔(ordered it, wasn’t included) Hot links / sausage ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great location, nice staff. Parking was a little hassle w the snow coming down. They do not take call ahead orders. Everything is gluten free / gf. They have good allergen awareness."

"Great BBQ, poor service. The bad rating is because Smokin’ Good doesn’t keep their hours up to date on Google maps. I’m from out of state and I drove for hours this weekend to score some good BBQ. Gmaps showed them open, but when I got there they were not. It also happened to me the last time I was there on Labor Day weekend. I found out today that they post special hours on the Good Food Store website. I guess the locals will know and everyone else is out of luck."

"Our traveling companions are Texans who know how to smoke a brisket, pulled pork, and chicken. I do a pretty good job myself, but we are always looking for something better, more tender any maybe sweeter. Maybe its just me, but this is nothing like Texas barbeque. The sauce tastes like flavored ketchup. The brisket should be sliced across the grain and no thicker than a quarter inch- not chunks. All the meat was slightly dry, maybe try low and slow smoking. The hot link was good with a nice heat chaser. The mac n cheese is excellent and the slaw has a deliciously unique flavor, maybe apple cidar vinegar? The corn bread is unremarkable. We ordered the 4 meat sampler for $19.95 and had enough meat to feed 4 adults."

"Authentic BBQ! Delicious! Let me warn you right off the bat, the portions are large. I got much much more food than I was expecting. The food is terrific. The staff is friendly, and the prices were reasonable considering the portion size. The wild BBQ sauce is spicy, but not oppressive. I got a variety of meats, and I enjoyed the pork ribs the most Definitely stop by!"

"Terrific local BBQ in Bethel, Maine. We drove by several times and the smoker was always going early in the morning and late into the evening. For our first time there, we ordered the 6-Pack to Go, which is billed as two pounds of pork, 6 rolls, large coleslaw, pickles and sauce. For our family of four, we added four orders of cornbread and asked if they could split the order into one pound each of pulled pork and pulled chicken so that we could taste both. They were happy to hear that we wanted to try both and did not miss a beat. We also tried their hot smoked cashews. Everything was delicious and our take-out was ready within minutes after placing our order. This place is definitely worth a stop or even a drive out of your way."
