"I cannot recommend the sugar shack enough. Every time family is in town, that’s the go to. After every school event, ski day, or just a regular old Wednesday, we are there. I have never had a bad experience. The staff is always 10/10, the food is 100/10, and the vibe is immaculate. The owners are local people who built the sugar shack into the best bang for your buck family restaurant quite possibly in the state. Every bad day I have I go there for a coffee milkshake, Penobscot fries, and great company, because it is impossible to be sad when you’re there. P.S. don’t forget to try the cheesecake!"
"This place is worth every good review and then some! We stopped in multiple times during our stay and there wasn't a single thing we didn't love- it was all SO good! Shakes, food, seasonal items... all amazing. We actually had to force ourselves to try other restaurants in the area after the first few times because it was so easy to keep going back! The people were a huge part of that too, everyone we interacted with was so nice! They make you feel like you're a regular even if it's your first visit and we really enjoyed talking with them! They're in a great location with great hours as well! I highly recommend The Bethel Sugar Shack!"
"Fire popcorn chicken was the best! Didn’t expect it to kick my butt, and it did! Wraps are yum, milkshakes, cheesecakes. Reasonably priced for 2 people. first time at sugar shack and glad went to this location!"
