"A key expression in Real Estate is "may the buyer beware." In our recent experience with the agent representing Shaker Heights being beware is putting in mildly. In good faith our broker spent a significant amount of time in working with the Shaker Heights broker for us to purchase the model home on Lot 55. We were told (more or less), we'd have two weeks to get our home on the market, and as a model, no other offers than what we put in would be entertained while the home was a model. Then suddenly, after we worked diligently and very quickly to get our home on the market the broker (Pat) told our broker via only an email (not directly) words to the effect "the builder has accepted another offer"; effectively putting us out of contention for the purchase. Not only did she tell us that we were no longer able to purchase the home, she did not suggest an alternative, like building on another lot while lots were available, she also directed us to another builder and a place that they had available in Massachusetts. It really makes us wonder what builder would want to be represented by a broker that directs potential customers away from a sale."

"Have been eyeing this development for 4 or 5 years. Recently turned 55 and decided to downsize from a 2900 sq. ft. house. We looked at a few other developments in MA and CT but for us, nothing compared to the separate building concept of a P.U.D., with lawn maintenance and snow removal taken care of. We met up with Pat Wheway , of the Wheway Group, Coldwell Banker. She sold our house in a day and walked us through the process of selling and building with Mannarino Builders . Very pleased with the finished product, and the attention to detail from Mannarino Builders. Rob was very easy to work with, listening to all our needs, and delivering on them. We have been here a few weeks and love it so far... Nice place to live, with nice neighbors!"
