"Mayfield Place Apartments is a great place to rent an apartment. Lou and his team provide timely and effective maintenance service. The apartments are clean and maintained well, and you can't hear your neighbors. The facilities are nice and clean. My wife and I enjoyed the pool and exercise room. The staff are very friendly and respectful, and any request gets taken care of in a timely manner. I highly recommend Mayfield Place Apartments if you need to rent in the area."

"I have been a resident of the Mayfield Place for 4 years after selling my home in a nearby town where I lived for 45 years. At first I was hesitant to go into an apartment since I had not been in one since college. However, my experience has been terrific. Both the office and maintenance staff are friendly and responsive to residents' needs. The units are spacious and beautiful. The grounds are pristine. The amenities are many. I would highly recommend Mayfield."

"We stayed at Mayfield place apartments for 2 years. The management is extremely racist and hostile. Once we had maintenance enter our home when we were on a one week vacation to for a “routine inspection” and the folks who inspected never bothered to close the refrigerator door. All the contents were rotten upon our return. When we went to politely ask the management about it, they said they would offer us 500$ for the damages. We asked for their word that the maintenance would not enter the building unauthorized and the lady said “Get out or I will call the cops”. This only happened because of our race and skin color. I have seen first hand how others are treated."

"Been living here for 4 years before I moved out. Awesome place to rent, with pros and cons: Pros: Price is insanely cheap compared to most apartments for what you get, they should definitely be charging more for rent. Lots (and I mean LOTS) of space for items including your own garage and hallway. Not sure why people complain by saying it's overpriced. In four years, they only raised the rent by about +$50 since I started living here which is a lot better than most places who raise the rent by the hundreds. Probably the best and most friendly maintenance team I have encountered. The office answers requests in a fast manner. Lots of walking paths for exercising, can walk all the way to the Longmeadow stores if you are up for it to grab a bite or shop. Well insulated so I never had any problems with noise levels in the 4 years I've been here. Would definitely live here again. Cons: The biggest one: Expect your package to never be delivered, Mayfield place refused to fix this even though it has been a MAJOR problem, not sure who is the genius that came up with the idea to give three different streets within this vicinity the same numbers so expect to NEVER get your mail and rely on the goodwill of your neighbors to deliver it to you because it ended up at the wrong address. Lots of air traffic, so expect to hear the planes every once in a while. Minor quirks like a small sink which makes it impossible to clean regular sized pans. Electric instead of gas stove. Mold was easy to grow in my apartment if I don't wipe down the walls enough. Shower barely got above luke-warm in the winter no matter how much I complained to them to please fix it, the water pressure is also terrible. But a lot of this is nit-picky details that shouldn't affect your choice to live here. Can't wait to be back, if life comes to that again!"

"I rented a 1 bedroom after I sold my house in 2021. I stay for 1 year and 6 months. The place is quite ok, except the rent is overpriced. Most of the time I am away, the area is relatively quiet and the Maintenace is great. The management is nothing to write home. All they are after, is how to milk you financially. I gave them notice of moving out 6 days short of the 60 days notice, I was made to pay for the 6 extra days. I moved out 4 days before the 6 days notice. I had the unit cleaned and sparkling. To my surprise, part of my deposit was retained for cook top replacement. When I checked in into the apartment and when I check out , there was no work through. I lived in the unit for 1 and half year, yet they expect the stove to look like new. Their intension is just to take tenant's money at any length."
