"The hotel itself is in a beautifully restored older home near the center of Hudson. We parked our car and never needed it for our entire stay. The room was comfortable and linens were cozy and clean. The pantry offered some basics (yogurt and bread) for breakfast (all self-serve) but not really what we were looking for. It was New Year's and it would have been a nice touch if the hotel offered something to its guests for the holiday, especially since most places were closed on New Year's Day."
"This is a beautiful peaceful inn. The public rooms are quiet beautiful. The guest rooms are spacious. The shower is strong and hot. The beds are comfortable. I prefer to let myself in and out. Staff was able to let us in a little early on arrival and we were grateful for that. You will need to be able to sleep through church bells."
"The Amelia was SUCH a treat!!! The staff were lovely, check-in was incredibly easy, and the property was beautiful. It is a block or two off of the main street (Warren), but otherwise nicely positioned to allow guests to take advantage of all Hudson has to offer. The Amelia has a small parking lot behind the house, which was great and so helpful. Our room was so spacious and clean. We will definitely be back!!"
"My husband and I stayed at The Amelia this past weekend and enjoyed our time there for our babymoon. The property was well kept and clean and we had quick/easy communications with Anne and Robin via text. Guests respected quiet hours which was really nice. The Amelia had a little kitchenette with snacks and coffee, towels for the pool, and daily housekeeping. There are comfortable and charming communal areas on the first floor and outside, which were convenient when we brought back some food/ice cream and wanted to hangout. We had a great time and would recommend!"
"We loved our stay here! It felt like the owners/staff thought of every detail from water carafes in the room to delicious oatmeal (both gluten free and regular) in the kitchen. We loved our room…the beds were incredibly comfortable and the shower was great. Walking distance to everything. We appreciated that Ann stayed in touch via text and sent us some of her favorite restaurant recs. We can’t recommend this place enough!"
