"The pickled veggies were superb!!! The other dish was good but just felt like a good pizza to me. Beautiful place. Bar was pretty empty though so felt lonely. Nice bartender. Accommodating."

"I've been to many Georgian restaurants across the globe as well as in Georgia ( of course nothing comes even close to the fantastic gastronomy there). I wanted to take several friends to try Georgian food while we were in DC and this restaurant came highly recommend. What I liked: the service was impeccable, the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I really appreciate the decor, it's a modern minimalist take on a Gerogian earthy esthetic. The cocktails were lovely, beautifully blended, and very creative. I have not tried anything like Spicy Zelensky before ( #Glory to Ukraine). The food was a tad disappointing to me because I found it rather bland. Authentic places add a lot more various spices , which gives Gergian cuisine its unmistakable gastronomic signature . I would say they held back on the full spectrum of spices to accommodate to American taste palette. I would summarize it as a very good introduction to Georgian cuisine if you have never tried it before. If you like it, you're ready for the full flavourful and divine experience that is Georgian cuisine. What I always recommend: pkhali, which is a mere plate of 3 different vegetable spreads( spinach, eggplant, and beets), which goes beautifully with bread. Adjaruli khachaputi, which is a cheese boat, so basically heavily soft dough filled with several hot melted cheeses and an egg, which you mix in and it turns into pyre heaven. And, an absolute must have khinkali, which a large dumpling either with meat and bullion or sulguni cheese. I've tried many versions of dumplings from various cultures, but bitting could hold a light to this phenomenal creation. Also, try Tarhoon, which is an oregano lemonade. It's zesty, refreshing, sweet with hints of herbal freshness."

"It was by coincidence that we came to this restaurant, because it was close to our hotel!!! My husband was doubting because obviously he didn’t know Georgian food! IT WAS AMAZING!!! I loved EVERYTHING we ordered!!! I only missed a bottle of Georgian wine :( when I thought about it it was too late… But the beer was good! Excellent kitchen!!!! I definitely would love to go back if I had more days in DC!!"

"Khachapuri was amazing. The desserts were AMAZING—if you are going to this restaurant, definitely be ready to order them. The ambiance allows for private and intimate conversations. We went during restaurant week, where we got 3 courses for $40. We were served appetizer, entree, dessert. For appetizer, we got corn fritters and roasted potatoes. For the entree, we got a roasted veggie platter. for dessert, we got a grape desert and honey cake. One thing I must commend this restaurant for is their presentation. It was class to be eating something presented so nicely. The vibrancy and intricacy of their dishes made it well worth the price tag."

"Great place for trying Georgian food, even if it’s your first time! Big and well organized, the decoration both inside and outside is inviting! We tried the basic Georgian dishes, and service was helpful in recommending options. Dishes take a little time, so don’t rush it, just enjoy the food! Soup dumplings are a must (they’re big, maybe order the 3 piece not the 6), and Ajaruli is also a must!!!"
