"This place has a great location and amazing views from the rooftop restaurant and bar. I stayed here as a guest during a wedding. The reception was beautiful and the food was fantastic. The rooms are cramped, which is to be expected in older hotels. The walls are thin and we could hear the music from the reception (in the basement) in our room on the 3rd floor. There is only one option for parking and that is valet, which is NOT included for hotel guests. In other words, you should expect to pay $68 a day for parking here. They charge a $35 “resort fee” and when asked, the employee said this included $15 at the restaurant, $8 at the mini bar, free waters, and 10% off of spa services. After checkout, I was still charged an additional $8 for using the mini bar that was included in the resort fee? So in addition to an almost $300 a night room charge, be expected to pay over $100 for parking and “resort fee.”"

"Me and spouse we decided to stay in new year celebration in DC I love the location of this hotel but I don’t know that was the manager of this location but she was always judging every customer when they just walk in to the reception, she and her coworkers was judging a gay Hispanic guys, I don’t know if they forgot if they’re giving attention to the customers no making them feel bad or uncomfortable. This hotel need to pay attention of that. By the way the waitress it was saying they live tip, when she and the manager was just judging them"

"The room is extremely small, much smaller than any other four-star hotel room in the US that I've stayed in (I'm a frequent traveler). The bathroom design was awful. You can't nearly turn around when you're brushing your teeth. The bathroom has NO DOOR! This is extremely inconvenient when sharing room with someone! There's also nowhere to hang clothes in the shower room! The only hanger is outside the shower room, but since there's no door to the whole bathroom at all, that hanger was useless. The front desk was professional though. They claim to have good location but no, you can't see any of those famous places like white house. This is more like a cheap 3-star hotel with minimum amenities, but charges double. Regret a ton staying here. Avoid this place at all cost! Run away, not even walk!"

"This is my ALL TIME FAVORITE hotel in D.C. and I travel there often. The staff is simply exceptional in every way. We just attended an event at the White House, and Ermilita at the front desk could not have been more kind, professional and accommodating. She made our stay beyond memorable. I truly hope that Ermilita can get recognized in some way by the hotel for her incredible commitment to customer service. I cannot wait to return!!!!"

"The best part about this place is the location. The rooms are small but clean with nice views of Treasury building. There is a rooftop bar which is cool. Unfortunately it was closed for a few nights we were there for private events. The restaurant downstairs has good food but grossly overpriced breakfast. No concierge to be noted. Phone in room didn’t work."
