"The meeting spaces are nice and the bar was top notch, but the rooms are dated and cramped. They've shoehorned a bathroom pod in to each room and it blocks the majority of the space. With the curtains blocking the window bay the space feels way to small. No where to store anything. The shower amenities are on the sink which are across the bathroom from the shower. There are bar soap holders in the shower and sink but no bar soap. Tiles in the shower are showing cracks and mold. One of the weirdest things was there was a door frame behind the headboard. They had tried to cover it up with an oversized head board, but it was obvious. I think the rooms are in need of a serious makeover."

"Location is great, and hotel is beautiful. We had a first floor/basement room, which was a little musty (and I had not realized that was a possibility). My major complaint is that even though I completed a pre-check-in on the app saying we would arrive at 3pm (which is the check-in time listed for the hotel), the room was not ready at 3:40 when we arrived, and frankly the concierge did not seem to care -- there was no apology, he just said we could leave our luggage and go walk around, but we were checking in with 2 young kids. We sat in the lobby for about 20 minutes with the kids going crazy. I've never arrived at a hotel after the listed check-in time to find the room unavailable."

"This hotel is in the middle of everything! Capital One area is literally 2 minutes away. Everything lovely including food, activities. Minutes away from everything. Hotel are absolutely amazing! The rooms are very spacious. We stayed in the Robert E Mill Suite. This definitely could fit a family of 5-6 comfortably! The hotel has a lot of character. We would definitely revisit if ever in the area again"

"If you’re looking for a party this is the place. If you want a nice place to lay your head down after checking out all the museums, I’d look elsewhere. They had a party until 2am that was shaking the glass in our room on a Wednesday night. The room was small and the bathroom was kind of just thrown in the middle of it. Not what I expected at all from a $700+/night hotel! We ended up checking out after the 2am party and headed to a different hotel. I would recommend you do the same!"

"The hotel in itself is fine, I like the ambience and the decorations. My problem is with the employees’ attitude. I stayed here for 5 nights and will never return. Ever since I checked in, I never once felt welcomed. Front desk employees didn’t seem to know that a smile is the bare minimum you can offer to customers. My husband and I are extremely polite people and we try to make everyone’s lives easier, but since the moment I walked through the door, all I received were judgmental looks and cold faces, and this was the norm throughout my whole stay, from the doormen to front desk to room service. The two ladies working on August 23 when I checked out were the worst. The hotel gave me $10 coupons for every night I stayed so I came to the front desk to use the coupons at their mini bar. Those ladies did not make eye contact and acted like we were bothering them the whole time even though nobody else was in line. They made us feel so small we were so relieved to finally get out of there. Not to mention, the items we got were over the value of the coupons, which were fine had they communicated that to us right then and there. Instead, I just randomly saw a charge from the hotel a few days later and had to call to figure out what it was for. Overall, their hospitality is -15/10."
