Ardene Store

"Was told I can’t return clothes today because I don’t have e mail. I have a business e mail not personal and I’ve never in my life heard something so ridiculous that a store can’t make returns even with a receipt. Girl behind the counter was so rude but I see they’ve gotten the same complaints."

"I bought a swimsuit a couple weeks ago. Brand new with tags never worn so I decided to bring it back. I was never told this item was final sale. Lower end stores usually do that but this store I gave alittle more credit too like I said I was never told this was their policy….on swimsuits only. Then I proceeded to ask where in the store does it say final sale on swimsuits (she showed me the receipt with a bar code and I said what do I do with that exactly) It was all very shaky and honestly the girl was awful and she must of been having a bad day but at the same time had I known the first time I wouldn’t have bought it. The funny thing is the girl ringing me up was the same girl from last time but she didn’t stick up for herself the other girl didn’t let her speak. Anywho the fake manager behind the counter gave me an attitude the second she was disturbed from folding clothes. My nine year old even said how rude she was to me. She was certainly not the manager because the manager would have settled professionally and properly. I would have been happy with store credit since my daughter wanted some jewelry. I didn’t care about getting the money back physically but to use it for another item so it wasn’t a total waste of my time. This was my second time in this store and I couldn’t believe how rude this woman was. Which ended up being a total waste of my time anyway and I was extremely upset leaving the store. The woman or young teenager who was working today behind the counter with a black pony tail curly hair was awful, rude, laughed when I gave her the wrong receipt as I was in shock because she was provoking a fight and the nerve to mock me. Horrible customer service and behavior. She seemed like she would have followed me to my car to physically fight me had I fed into her gross behavior. I was with my two children thinking I’m doing a simple exchange and it ended up being a nightmare. I liked Ardene too it’s a cute little store but after today I won’t be giving you business and neither will anyone I know. I also sent an email to corporate because I’ve never experienced anything like this before. I felt horrible and really shaken up it was just unnecessary."
