"Ever since a handful of years ago when they re-did the whole layout in the store I find it the easiest grocery store to shop. The order allows me to get all my dry goods before refrigerated goods. I like the frozen section is last as well. The staff is good too, I always seem to run into the same employees and always have had good interactions, especially with the cashiers. Gas points are a good perk as well"

"Stopped in after a long day of work and didn't enjoy having to listen to two employees complaining about another worker while ringing up my order. With only one register open, maybe they could stop talking so one could open another register or at least help bag groceries."

"The Stop n shop on burnett blvd in Poughkeepsie I put an order at the deli thru the kiosk..I asked for everything either shaved or sliced thin and when i asked them to change my ham the man was very rude and attempted to make me feel stupid by “correcting” the style i wanted it cut but it blue up un his face because his “option” wasnt on the list of options..when i got home and opened all my deli meat IT WAS ALL WRONG!!!! Deli workers needs to be properly trained in giving the customer what they want..the whole point in using the deli kiosk is so you can continue shopping and not have to stand in line."

"Editing this review down to 2 stars after recent experiences. With no communication Stop and shop has stopped price matching for substituted items. They have also stopped sending email confirmations. Lists of out of stock items that weren't fulfilled aren't sent until halfway through the pickup window. Pickup the last two times has taken over 15 minutes as well. No longer worth using pickup here which means it is no longer worth shopping here for us. This review is for grocery pickup only. It's a convenient service but stop and shop consistently does not send an order summary so I pick up groceries not knowing if I have everything I need. I shouldn't have to get out of the car and search through bags for a receipt to find out if I got all my groceries. Frequently find things I've asked to be substituted if out of stock are just not filled instead as well. I"

"*** Update *** Stop & Shop is significantly more expensive than other stores in the area. I'm comparing prices now with significant inflation. Some aisles are nearly empty with very little selection. Yes we have supply chain issues, but other stores aren't as poorly stocked. I now only go here for a small number of products that only they have that I really like. ****** Stop & Shop has recently lowered their prices on some key items I used to drive to Acme for because Acme's were significantly lower like unflavored Greek yogurt dropped $2/large container. Stop & Shops basic medicines are also significantly cheaper than Walgreens or CVS. But this Stop & Shop needs more variety in their freshly prepared meals section. Still a good store."
