"I love this place. I moved to Rye about 7 years ago and I needed a barbershop. I was lucky enough to find this barbershop in the middle of WASPville, USA. What more can you ask for? Old Italian MEN who know how to cut hair, ‘50’s music coming out of their stereo and it’s reasonably priced. Being in Central Barbershop, you almost forget you’re surrounded by uppity people and you feel like you’re among family."

"Very prepared for the reopening since covid. They have plastic barriers between chairs, everyone is wearing masks, they use disposable aprons, everthing is clean, felt comfortable having my haircut by Sal, been going to him for years."

"SNAKES!!! After receiving a very mediocre haircut (I had to get it redone two weeks later) I went to go pay at the front. Unbeknownst to me, as it wasn't posted, they won't accept cards, only cash. It's the second half of the second decade of the third millennium and they don't even take cards! So I tell them I'll go to a bank a block down, withdraw legal tender, and come back to pay them. I withdrew $40, half to pay for the haircut and tip, and half to just have money. After returning, an employee told me that they were taking wagers whether I'd come back or ditch. THEY ACCUSED ME OF (potentially) BEING DISHONEST! TO MY FACE! I don't engage, but inside I'm insulted. Frustrated, I pay and leave without much attention to them. A few hours later I realize the extra $20 I had is gone; I accidentally paid them $40 for a haircut. I admit, it was my fault for handing that money over, but they didn't have the honesty and integrity to say "whoops you handed me extra" or such. SNAKES! They accused me of dishonesty and turned around to do what they so disdained! The haircut was horrible as well as overpriced and the employees worst! DO NOT GO HERE! What happened to integrity? Honesty? Values? HEATHENS TO THE AMERICAN WAY OF LIFE!!!!!!!!! 1/5 stars is generous enough!"

"Worst haircut I have ever had. I have had haircut several times from here before, and it used to be done well. This time frank did it and he messed it up. He has created patches on my forehead. I have realized it only after coming home. Stay away from him..."
