"I waited a while to post this review but enough time has passed now for me to say that it stands true. First, I’d like to note that while this practice might be popular because of Dr. Miller’s name being on it, you will likely never see him or hear from him. We have dealt with three of their vets. Unless you are associated with a big barn or high end show, don’t expect them to run out for your emergencies. They treated our mare for 2 years and in two years I gave them complete freedom to run whatever tests they needed to and do any injections they felt were necessary. I can tell you that if you read through her medical file you will see, they hadn’t the slightest clue what was going on with her but they kept guessing and treating and I kept paying in hopes it would resolve our lameness issues. After a few different sets of injections I was told that it was actually just her conformation and that we should not do anymore work. In August, we noticed a slight limp and called them out immediately. They sent someone out (who I will say was very nice) but I don’t think she knew where to begin either so we did another round of test and blocks. They then said she was fine for work and that we should Bute her and see how she was doing. A week later and after two rides, she was grade 4 lame. Again, we had them come out and the vet that came out was awful. So rude and cold. She repeated all the same tests and said she thought it was something totally different, recommended boots and stall rest with a recheck in a week. When the next one came out she redid all the same tests and came to a different conclusion than the other 3 but said she really couldn’t be certain. In the end she recommended stall rest for 6 months (without knowing what was actually wrong). We ended up consulting with a different vet in the end and they were able to diagnose her via x-ray within an hour of seeing her. They let a degenerative condition go on for 2 years while ignoring the textbook (as I was told by other vets) symptoms. They had no problem sending all the bills but they couldn’t even be bothered to call after they received the results. Nothing. To me, that shows a true lack of caring in addition to the huge mistakes they made along the way. Don’t trust a fancy name. They allowed an animal to suffer for years and couldn’t even be bothered to say anything after. That speaks volumes."

"Dr Wooten and her associate Ashley came to my home and did our horses annual dentistry. They both were beyond a pleasure and extremely competent and professional. I highly refer Dr. Sarah Wooten for all of your equine Dentistry needs, as she is very caring and knowledgeable."
